The Hunt for the Power Stones

Chapter- 36 Hunting for Gold?

"We're past halfway 4 more stones to go," said James, "Yea, we know what one of them is, the Amethyst stone, but we need to find another way into through the lake without getting ourselves killed," said Nathaniel " For now we need to keep moving, there are still 3 other stones out there" stated Malik. The men had come together once again and Malik reached into his bag and pulled out the Book of stones. The book seemed to have magic embedded in it. Gabriel could feel the presence of his grandfather's magic. The book was designed to only be opened by 1 person, Malik. 

Malik had been reading up and had opened to the next page that vibrantly expressed to the group that the next stone on the list is the Lightning Topaz stone. Malik began reading from the book " Hello Malik, I hope you're doing well, this stone is probably one of the most powerful stones of all, Servic had offered to me to go with him on his next journey to Kill the beast that held the stone. I saw with my very own eyes, a Dragon that had shiny golden scales that made light bounce off of it so bright that it was blinding and that was the defense of this dragon. During the day the Dragon could fly around the lands and no one would dare attack it as if they got close, the dragon would lower his wings and reflect the sun with intense light and heat concentration." "Wow, My grandfather did and saw some incredible things in his lifetime," said Gabriel. " Yes he truly was an incredible man " stated Malik as he continued reading. " The offensive power that this dragon contained was that he could command, siphon, and absorb electrical lightning bolts and contain the power if he ever felt threatened. When Servic attacked the first time they struggled with looking at the beast as he reflected the sun towards the group. He managed to injure the dragon, that's when they realized and I saw the lightning coming from the sky and landing directly on the dragon, seconds later he released that same power all over the men. They all survived by using their shields above them and blocking the powerful bolts raining down on them. " 

"Where did the dragon live" stated James, " In this section, the mage speaks about a certain place called Hebra mountains, the dragon would spend most of his time on there as he could see for miles and miles, similar to the Emerald speed stone dragon." 

"The way Servic and his men managed to take down this beast was simply to attack it at night. " " I guess that's what we have to do as well then," said James. Servic had been on this dragon killing Journey his whole life. He was able to find the locations of each dragon thanks to Morpheus, Morpheus refuses to help kill his family, he knew the information would travel quick and his cover would be blown. Morpheus would assist by flying the 11 men on his back and deliver them close to the other dragon's homes. 

" How are we supposed to take down someone with those kinda powers," said James.  " Well what we do know is whoever he is, It's a human, he won't have scales and Golden wings... I Hope" said Malik. ohh how wrong they were...
