The Last couple of days were exhausting for our brave heroes. Malik was taking a break swimming with his friends in a nearby river, Jeffrey was also enjoying himself bathing in the water. James had heard some rustling in the background. He saw someone creeping around the horses and camp they had set up. "HEY" Yelled James, the mysterious man had stolen a sword and began running away, " Get him Jeffrey!" yelled Malik. Jeffrey bolted away in the direction of the thief, tackling him to the ground. The 3 men caught up to them soaking wet and half-dressed with weapons ready.

Malik aimed his sword at the man's throat, " SPEAK THIEF ", " I, I, I'm so, s, sorry my village was attacked by a monster, I had to get another weapon to defend my family". "What's your name," said James "C, Christopher" "Where is this village you speak of," said Malik lowering his sword, " O, On the others, side of the river," he said nervously " We will help you, just don't steal from us," said Malik. " Thank you kind sir Thank you" Christoper handed over the sword to Nathaniel as the men returned back to their camp to gear up, " What does this monster look like," " It's horrible, it has the lower body of a man with hooves and the top half of a bull," said Christopher. The winter snow had begun falling and it was indeed getting cold, " We can take shelter at my place" said the villager.

The 3 men and Christopher started heading towards the nearby village, it was getting windy, the horses were starting to struggle with going through the snow. "It's just up ahead" said Christopher. They had arrived a couple minutes later to a broken down village that had been obviously terrorized the night before. James took the horses to the village's stables where they would be fed and warm. Christopher had explained everything that had happened and that there were whispers that the beast lived near the old abandoned mines. The village men had planned to fight it the next morning, "Would you please help us" said a nearby villager. "Yes, we will fight with you as a thank you for your hospitality and for our horses" said Malik. They shared a meal together and rested in Christopher's home.
