Chapter 48 - Purely Evil Soul

" Where do you think this item is, " said James, "I don't know, I've never heard of this," said Nathaniel, " I think I have " stated Gabriel, " My Mother, she was paid a lot of money by some prince to make a magical object, that's all I heard," said Gabriel. "Where are all her belongings," said Malik. " I can only imagine it being in the Kings vault with her spell books," replied Gabriel. They all began finally eating and devouring the cooked pig until they could fit not more, they all walked outside for some fresh air, moments later, Nathaniel could smell a sweet scent and told the boys if they could smell it too, they could not, but oddly enough Nathaniel headed in the delicious direction of that smell and the 3 men returned to the cave, Jeffrey was also affected but compared to the other 3, he could smell the scent and he secretly followed Nathaniel. They both walked for a good 5 minutes before reaching a dark entrance, Malik continued reading, "The Dragon produced a very alluring sweet scent that would cause their victims to mindlessly follow it leading them directly to their death... " NATHANIEL!!! " Yelled our heroes.

They remembered how Nathaniel was feeling and what he said about that pleasant smell he described, They all got on their feet and looked around for the smell and Nathaniel, but nothing... No trace of anything. Not a minute later, they heard a sound they were so glad to hear, " WOOF!!! " they burst out of there, "NATHANIEL, HAS THE BOX OF STONES" shouted James as they ran "c'mon run faster" manically shouted malik, All their hard work and sacrifice they went through just flashed through their mind. Nathaniel had just been through so many near-death experiences, but this was different not just Nathaniel's life was at stake, All the stones, and his precious parents too.

Nathaniel had reached a small crack on the side of a mountain and had slowly walked through. Androsus was the holder of this next stone, he was one of the best cooks and strongest knights Servic had the pleasure of working with. So he found it fitting to give him this stone. Servic had previously visited Androsus and notified him that Nathaniel was carrying the Box of stones, It was his task and duty to protect the box but now it would be at risk of losing it all. Androsus was waiting patiently for Nathaniel to arrive, once the mindless knight saw this ghastly terrifying hooded man, he felt fear and tried to run but the stone holders hold was too strong, he couldn't move, Androsus left his shadowy figure and appeared with his physical form, he grabbed both of Nathaniel's shoulders and began slowly staring at him and moments later A pure white essence was emerging into the air, slowly and slowly the essence, life and soul was being released... a minute later " CRUNCH " Jeffrey had barged into the cave and with all his strength he aggressively bit hard onto Androsus's leg, Androsus instantly stopped soul sucking and focused his attention on Jeffrey Nathaniel was floating with half of his essence in the air. James, Malik and Gabriel heard the screaming and dashed in the direction. It was pitch black outside but they all had the potion in their system and could easily spot the hooded figure.

James had fired an arrow but Androsus was too quick, he kicked Jeffrey off of him sending him flying across the cave. Malik ran and leaped and just managed to catch Jeffrey right on time. Gabriel saw the essence in the air and started pulling it back slowly inside Nathaniel. Androsus was furious and began to go back into his ghost mode, Just when things couldn't get worse. Androsus jumped into Nathaniel's body and it was as if he was back to normal, but his eyes tell a different story.

Androsus had a hold of Nathaniel and the stones. He ran as fast as he could outside of the cave and felt so powerful, he stopped and turned around to mock our heroes. "HAHAHA, What will you do now?", James, Malik and Gabriel all just stood there shoulder to shoulder, confused on what to do. " LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE AND FIGHT ME YOU COWARD" yelled James. The thing is the stone holder is able to run and jump with ease as it transforms the possessed human into a state making them as light as a feather, Androsus start running up and around trees and rocks but our heroes kept up and made sure not to lose him, they chased him to a huge cliff where he was cornered, "You have nowhere to hide, said Malik", "You can't hurt me without hurting your friend" said Androsus.

"Forgive me Nathaniel," said Gabriel to himself, Gabriel formed 1 fireball on each hand, he pushed and Merged both fireballs together and with all his power he levitated himself and began shooting hot, shiny fire sludge and completely surrounded Nathaniel's body in a ring of fire. Androsus hated the heat as to fight the darkness you need light and what better source than fire. " LEAVE HIS BODY" yelled Malik, " NATHANIEL IS WILLING TO DIE FOR THE CAUSE, LEAVE HIS BODY OR DIE WITH HIM" yelled James, Both men turned towards James in confusion, he mouthed the words "trust me", Nathaniel's body was beginning to heat up, James had hoped to pull a bluff and force the shadowy figure out. " YOU WILL DIE WITH HIM, SO GOODBYE", yelled James.

"YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY" yelled Androsus, seconds later he emerged out of Nathaniel, causing our hero to drop to the floor. Gabriel quickly blew away the fire and forced it to spin, He had formed as huge fire tornado to form, Androsus had been caught inside, he was trapped. Gabriel with no MERCY, forced the flames to tighten closing the gap, Androsus was screaming his dark evil heart out as he burned, All his skin and power was up in flames. Gabriel's nose began to bleed. All of these grand acts of magic came to him by instinct. He truly was a powerful sorcerer. James and Malik ran to their hurt and slightly burned friend. Gabriel had completely extinguished and stopped the fire filled tornado when he heard the screaming stop. All that fell was a huge ash dust cloud that slowly fell from the sky. Then "CLINK", a beautiful dark opal soul sucker stone fell. Gabriel quickly ran to pick it up, being careful not to touch it with his skin and ran to back Nathaniel.
