The Hunt for the Power Stones

Chapter 13- Kingly Prison Flower

Another horrible cold night the royals had to endure, while Servic slept comfortably in a Dragonskin bed. That morning Servic had left to gather more firewood and hunt for food. Morpheus's leg was almost as good as new, he stayed behind resting and relaxing. King Valentino had looked around for something to use to break out, he noticed a particularly cracked rib on the cage. "All I have to do is get the flower and break out once I've weakened the bone more".  The King and Queen were allowed to go and relieve themselves twice a day, after all, they didn't want the Den to reek more than it already did. 

Servic had returned with the wood and a few rabbits, he released both his parents and took them both to a nearby field, the shocking part was, that there were no flowers to be seen, it was winter and snow was beginning to fall. All they saw was white, fluffy, cold snow. Now it would be virtually impossible to get any more flowers, except for 1.

King Valentino ran up to give his wife a hug after he was finished. He grabbed the flower behind her ear and hid it in his pockets. Servic got mad and shouted " HEY!!" " Keep your distance you two or I'll make sure you never see each other again. " The King was sad but also hopeful, that he got what needed. 

Back at the Den, Servic had told his parents that Malic had been busy, " Seems your precious son has some balls for standing up to Damos and taking him out". " Hey will pay for this" he said to them both. That night the King slept peacefully knowing that he would make his escape the next day. 

Servic had gotten Morpheus set up to travel, he threw a bucket to each parent and meaty scrappy bones. The King had no intention of eating and taking shit from his disgraceful son, All he had in his mind was "Escape".
