Chapter 66 - The Beginning of the End

"GABRIEL, BLACK HOLE" yelled Malik, Gabriel formed his infamous black hole spell, but Just as Morpheus was about to fly in, he smoked up and turned to his Ghost form flying straight through, Morpheus pulled us his spikes and began pelting them 1 after another. Malik pulled out his shield, so did James and Nathaniel in a triangular formation. Gabriel hid behind the 3 waiting for Morpheus to stop, Morpheus had enough, he stopped shooting projectiles and decided it was best to use his physical raw ruby strength to barge into them, "GET READY FOR IMPACT" yelled Malik, BOOOM, Morpheus smashes into our group, the 4 men all go flying off, Jeffrey was used to helping farmers and was usually in charge of moving the horses when shit got real. James had, unfortunately, landed on a tree trunk and got a sharp branch that pierced through his left leg, "AGHH "he yelled in pain. Malik got up all scratched up, "Nathaniel stay with James" Morpheus got up and began forming Ice crystals from a nearby water stream, then he levitated these sharp icy shards of hard ice, and with his tail, he swing them all in the Direction of Malik and Gabriel, Gabriel had to react quickly and instantly formed a forcefield spell in front of himself. But unfortunately for Malik, he did not react in time. One of the massive ice shards hit Malik straight in the chest, "MALIK "yelled Gabriel as he saw Malik get knocked out straight to the ground. "HAHAHA "laughed Morpheus "Servic is now the true and only King of Columbus" he added. Gabriel had done something he had never done before, he began forming massive fireballs the size of a bear one after another he fired them at the Dragon but Morpheus was too quick, he evaded them with his speed ability with ease. "Was that meant for me, HAHAHA" said Morpheus mockingly, Gabriel had a backup plan he had full control of these fireballs and as they all flew past him, they merged together as 1 giant fireball and it was coming right back for Morpheus, WHAM, the fireball smashes into the Dragon knocking him into a nearby tree. "you will pay for that" he replied as he got up, Morpheus opened his mouth wide and let out a wave of purple flames directly at Gabriel, Nathaniel was trying to stop James from bleeding out, he wrapped a cloth around the wound and tied up his leg to slow down the bleeding. "I have to help the others; will you be okay?" said Nathaniel. "Yes, Yes Go" replied James while still in pain. Nathaniel took off his bag with the box of stones and gave it to James to hold "Look after them" he said.

Nathaniel grabbed his sword and shield and ran over to where Malik and Gabriel were. "MALIK" yelled Nathaniel, He quickly rushes to Malik to see him with a massive shard of ice on top of him. Malik's chest was glowing and sparking, "What the hell?" said Nathaniel, "GET HIM OUT OF HERE" yelled Gabriel, Nathaniel saw Gabriel fighting Morpheus and hoped he'd be okay, Nathaniel picked Malik up and ran him over towards James, "WHAT HAPPENED, IS HE DEAD" yelled James when he saw Malik's lifeless body on Nathaniel's shoulder. "I Don't Know" Nathaniel ripped open Malik's top and saw what was sparking and glowing. It was the teleportation amulet, it had broken into pieces, the shard had hit Malik so hard it smashed into the Amulet saving his life and knocking him out. Nathaniel grabbed the teleportation stone pieces and put them in his bag safely, The he said "James we have to help Gabriel, he will die out there, "Don't worry I got that covered" James had blown that whistle once more and this time, "THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP" was all Gabriel heard after deflecting each fire attack, he didn't even notice the trees around him on fire, Morpheus began flapping his Giant Golden wings at the same time as Gabriel began levitating himself up and over the trees to avoid the Fire, Morpheus was inches from flying off the ground when "CHOMP" Cerberus the Massive Demon Dog bit as hard as he could on the Dragon's tail, The ELF was sitting down on the Dog and yelled out to Gabriel, "WE GOT THIS, GO HELP YOUR FRIENDS", Morpheus "ROAAAREEED" as Cerberus was just swinging the Dragon from left to right smashing him into nearby trees like a rag doll, Cerberus had a strength like no other, even the Ruby stone wasn't as strong as this ferocious Dog, Each head had bitten hard onto a piece of the Dragon and were ripping chunks out of him, Gabriel saw what was happening and took the opportunity to escape while hearing in the Background, "WE ARE THE PROTECTORS OF THE WHISPERING WOODS".
