After the 2 days of healing and recovering, Nathaniel and Gabriel were back up and running. They had gotten all their belongings and stepped out of the cave. The sun wasn't burning their eyes so they knew they were safe. Nathaniel had put the box of stones in his bag and over his shoulder while Malik and the rest made sure Nathaniel was ok as getting your life sucked out of you is no small deal. Our heroes' clothes were absolutely ruined, dirty, and ripped. James opened the map and quickly made a rough estimate as to where they were. They knew they had 1 stone to get before going for the Amethyst stone but first, they needed proper food, clothes, and better rest. James had located a small town nearby that he recognized, It was his home town, where he grew up. James immediately notified his friends and they all agreed and began packing up. Gabriel was the only one that looked the best out of the 4 as he hadn't been traveling as long as our heroes have been. James was looking forward to seeing his old home and family as it had been so long, he just hoped that he didn't bring any trouble their way. Malik began thinking to himself who was left out of the 10 Hidden members, he remembered every single one very distinctly, the only one that was missing was a member by the name of Sadon. Malik discussed with Nathaniel if he remembers anything about Sadon as they were all friendly Knights once upon a time. "No, not really, to be honest, most of the knights that worked with Servic were a bit shady" replied Nathaniel. James was leading the group with Gabriel by his side, they had been discussing potential new combination of Magical attacks. " What else did your Mother teach you? " asked James to Gabriel, " I was my Mother's assistant so she didn't really have a lot of time to teach me, I did get to observe numerous spells" replied Gabriel. The men had reached a hilltop where it was very clear and easily visible to see for miles. " There it is " pointed James. A huge waterfall on the side of a cliff and at the bottom were several houses on the edge of the river. It was a beautiful sight. "Welcome to my home town Colmar" stated James. "We can't stay here long but we definitely need to clean up and have some food," said Malik. Our 4 heroes headed down the hill towards the village. James had spotted the home he grew up in and had hoped his parents were still there. James knocked on the door to see his mother and father and Little brother. "JIMMY" yelled James's Mother, "you brought friends? come in come in" welcomed James's Father. "Thank you" replied our heroes. "Wait, isn't that the Prince of Columbus?" whispered James's Mother. " Yes, we're on a quest to save the King and Queen" replied James. He did not want to give too many details as it is extremely dangerous the work their doing. "Can we get you guys anything to eat" offered Samantha (James's Mothers), "Yes please" Replied James. Our heroes enjoyed eating a great meal thanks to James's generous family, They all walked outside to look around for food, tools, equipment, and just general items to stock up on. Nathaniel had taken all the weapons to the Town's blacksmith to get sharpened and Malik went out looking for a place to keep the horses fed and safe for the night. Gabriel had looked around for a calm place to meditate and find some peace. James stuck around with his family. When nightfall came down they all had a proper clean and went to the towns Inn to get some rest and be fresh and energized for the next days' travels.
