"Go to the hardware store and you get the list. The whole list." Cade told Lucas as he handed the man the piece of paper.
"What, you're going to try and fix him? He's not a model train set, Cade." Lucas retaliated but took the paper.
"No, that's right. He's important."
"Yeah, but important to who? You can't just keep an alien locked up in your barn. What are you gonna do, play with him?" Lucas asked his friend who only rolled his eyes.
"Will you calm down?"
"I'm trying to, but I just got hit in the head with a ten-foot cannon! If he eats you, I get the GTO." Lucas told Cade as he got into his car. "Not a word to anybody. Do you hear me? Not a single word. Nobody." Cade demanded as the mini cooper drove away.
Cade sighed and walked back into the barn, closing the door behind him. Optimus looked away from the photo in his hand and looked down at the man that had walked into the barn.
"What do you have there?" Cade questioned, noticing the paper in his hand.
Optimus sighed as he looked back at the photo, the blonde girl in the photo was smiling as the black haired man hugged her from behind. Him clad in a black tux and her in a white, lacy wedding dress.
"It is a photo of my wife." Optimus stated as he passed the photo to the man, "Her name is Aurora Lennox, I had met her during the first war against the Decepticons." Cade took the photo and looked at the girl in the image, "I am afraid that I may have lost her to Cemetery Wind." Optimus sighed.
Cade shook his head at the Prime's statement, "No, I've seen her around town." Cade stated, Optimus' optics widened as he looked down at Cade, "Yeah. I've seen her around. She has an apartment in town and works full time at a local restaurant and performs once and a while in the pub." Cade handed the picture back to the Prime, who slowly took it back. Still shocked by the news he had just been told.
"You have seen her?"
"Yeah, we've talked a few times. She told me her husband was KIA." Cade shrugged, "I can give her a call if you would like."
