Aurora sat on the abandoned train car, her legs swinging over the edge as she watched the sunset. She still had fresh tears falling down her checks as she spun the diamond ring around her finger. Loud footsteps made their way along side the car she sat on, the Italian crossed his arms as he followed his charges gaze out to the sunset.
"Principessa, you must understand his reasoning." Mirage told Aurora, his gaze flickering to her quickly as she shifted in her spot.
"I do." She countered, "I really do, but to just up and leave like that? To leave his own wife?" Aurora's voice shook as she spoke, "I just found him, Mirage. And now I'm about to lose him again, forever this time."
"I understand." Mirage nodded his head as he looked down at the blonde as she used her sleeve to wipe the tears from under her eyes. "But you must remember, he's never really gone. There will always be a piece of him, here." His finger pointed to the girls heart or spark.
"I guess you're right." She muttered as she stood up and looked at the mech, "Thanks, Dino." Aurora gave the mech a smile and climbed down to the ground and made her way to the ship.
Aurora slowly made her way towards the Prime who had his back turned to her as he watched the area around them. She sucked in a breath before she placed her hand on his leg, his attention turning to the girl below him. Optimus stepped away as he transformed, the driver side door opened and the black haired man stepped out.
Optimus walked over to the blonde and stood next to her, not uttering a word as they watched the horizon. Aurora reached her hand over and took the Prime's hand in her own, "I didn't mean to be harsh." She muttered.
Optimus looked down at her, "I understand why you were upset. And you have every right to be." Optimus informed the woman.
Aurora looked over at him and gave a sad smile before she reached up to his face, holding it in her hands. "I just got you back, I can't lose you again." Optimus watched as her eyes became glossy and the few tears rolled down her cheeks. "I have no one left to turn to..."
"I will always be with you, my love." Optimus hushed as he cradled her face in his large hands "No matter the distance, we will always be connected."
