Once in a lifetime

I was glad I asked that question in the text to Gigi like Jan said to because it started a long conversation that continued for hours.
We talked and talked about everything and anything, just getting to know each other. We talked about school and our love for creating and it was just a really great conversation, a little friendly flirting but nothing more. I didn't realize how late I stayed up texting her until I looked at the time and it was 4 a.m, not only that but I had an early class the next day.
I quickly texted her,
"Night Gigi! See you around x"
With that I switched off my phone.

The fact I didn't sleep through my alarm was incredible because usually I need at very least 13 hours of sleep to function, I didn't even feel tired when I woke up!
I turned on my phone to turn off my alarm and saw Gigi had texted me after I'd fallen asleep.
"Sleep well my love xx"
My love? Is that flirting or is it just friendly? I know she sends kisses in a friendly way but was this friendly?  Either way it put a smile on my face.

"I slept great, 3 whole hours!! 🤣"

I turned off my phone, Jan had already left because she had early morning soccer practice, I decided to get ready quickly and meet her at the field so we could get breakfast in the campus café together before class.

When I got to the field, they were still training so I decided to sit in the bleachers and wait for her. I'd only been sitting there a few minutes when someone sat beside me.

"Good morning Crystal" a french accent said.

I looked to my side to see Nicky sitting beside me.

"Hey Nicky! How are you?" I ask

"I'm good, how are you? I know you didn't get much sleep last night" she said, smiling slightly.

"What?" I say cautiously

"Those bags under your eyes could be seen from a mile away" she laughs

"Really?" I say, putting my hand to my face.

"No not really, I'm Gigi's roommate, I saw she was on her phone for half the night which is unlike her and she said she was talking to you"

Even hearing Gigi's name made me smile, I looked down while smiling.

"Ok so I'm pretty tired but I'm ok" I laugh, looking back up at Nicky, who looked me up and down.

She knew.

"I think it would interest you to know that Gigi is openly bi" she smirked

Yes she definitely knew.

"There's nothing going on with us" I say, truthfully enough.

"Mhm.." Nicky says "I better go find my boyfriend, see you later" she said, winking at me.

I look back at the field and see that the soccer girls are just finishing up.

I cant WAIT to talk to Jan when we go to the Café!

GIGI IS BISEXUAL!! I HAVE A CHANCE!!
