Once in a lifetime

I spent the rest of the day with Gigi, we just talked and laughed and had a good time. Jan was out so I knew I didn't have to worry about her, because of this I enjoyed the day and made the most of it, even though I hoped there would be a lot more days like this to come. I don't know how to explain it but I just felt so... comfortable and myself with her. It felt really, really good and made me really happy. I was the most refined and best version of myself when I was with her. I wasn't like that with anyone else other than my dad so this was a new experience, but an amazing one at that and I'm glad the person I was experiencing it with was Gigi.

Eventually the sun started setting, I checked my phone and it was 7:30 which meant Jan would be home in about half an hour.

"I better go back to my dorm Gigi, I want to clean the place up a bit before Jan gets back." I said.

"I'll walk you back, my dorm building is the next one over so it's not out of my way at all!" She smiled.

I smiled back at her.

"Ok that sounds cool" I said, blushing a little.

She grabbed my hand, her fingers fitting perfectly with mine, and we started walking. The silence was comfortable. The feeling of her cold hand against my warm one filled my stomach with a thousand butterflies. I must've been smiling without realizing because the next thing I knew Gigi looked over at me and giggled.

"What are you smirking about, Crystal?" She joked.

I looked up at her.

"Nothing, nothing." I said, giggling slightly.

She laughed at me, letting go of my hand to grab me around my waist, spinning me around to face her.

"You're an idiot you know that?" She whispered.

I blushed even though there was nothing remotely romantic about calling me an idiot.

"No you!" I say, trying not to sound like too much of a bottom while doing so.

She leaned in as if she was about to kiss me but just as she was about to, she spun me back around and held my hand again.

I lightly punched her arm and she just laughed as we continued to walk back to my dorm building. We arrived there without any major events and when we were standing outside the building Gigi decided to do the spin thing again.

"Can you actually kiss me this time?" I asked.

She laughed at me.

"Fine." She said, leaning down and pecking my lips.

"Not this." Came a voice from behind us.

I looked around, still in Gigi's arms, to see Jan smiling at us with one eyebrow raised.

"Less of the PDA ladies" she joked and I rolled my eyes.

"You're back early Jan." I say

"Crystal it's literally 7:58, I'm not that early" she laughed.

Wow it took us half an hour to walk to the dorm buildings? Unlucky for Jan I guess considering my cleaning skills haven't been used and our room looks like a rundown drag bar that hasn't been cleaned in 7 months.

"I better go, Seeya crystal" Gigi says, pecking my lips again as Jan makes obnoxious "oOooO" noises.

"Bye Geege." I say, waving at her as she walks away.

Jan linked her arm in mine as we went inside the building.

"As soon as we get to our dorm I need ALL the tea miss methyd" she said, winking.

I rolled my eyes at her, pretending to not be excited to tell her about the events from when she was gone.
