Sitting between her children with one leg crossed over the other, Lindsey sat across the hall, taking in the three and wallowing in the thought of her kissing another guy.

Both Devyn and Isaac had their heads resting on her shoulders, definitely growing tired as the time passed.

"Hey, Steph?" Lindsey whispered, leaning forward.

She opened her eyes and she looked at him.

"Why don't we take the kids home? They don't need to stay here all night, they need to rest..."

She nodded her head and she kind of rubbed each of their arms.

"You should probably get some rest too," he mentioned.

"Yeah, um... I wanna change and come back. I'll stay with her once they move her. I don't want to leave her by herself," she shook her head.

"Okay, why don't we go home, go to sleep and we'll come first thing in the morning? She's gonna be asleep, she's not gonna know and then afterwards, if you have to, maybe you can stay. But you should rest and I'll make sure the kids are taken care of."

Nodding her head, "It is getting late..." she mumbled, looking at her children. "Sweethearts," she shook them awake, "Let's go home, my loves..."

Devyn popped her head up first and she kind of wrinkled her nose at the light in the hall while her glasses were pressing into her face in an uncomfortable way. She then stood up and kind of stretched out while also smoothing down her plaid skirt and and sweatshirt. "Is grandma awake yet?"

"No, honey, but we're gonna take you guys home. We have to go to sleep and then we can come back tomorrow," she guided her son to get up when he opened his eyes.

"She's gonna be by herself?" the older teen asked.

"Just till they move her. I'm gonna go home and change, and I'll be back," already altering her husband's idea. "I'm gonna tell the doctor or somebody that they should call me when they do move her."

Both kids nodded.

Lindsey then stood up, accepting that she would change things out to work in her favor, but he wasn't going to stop her. He slung an arm around his son and he guided him out first.

The males were a couple feet away from the traveling females ahead of them.

"You alright, kiddo?" Lindsey asked.

"Yeah... It was just weird. We ran into mom's date on the way back," he added---shaking it off right away because he was a little disoriented from his nap.

"Oh, did he say anything?" he felt the need to ask.

"He just said hi and he asked us how we were doing. Devyn told him what happened. After, he told us he was sorry and he told us to hang in there and that things would be alright."

Lindsey arched a brow to himself; maybe the guy wasn't that bad---he was just jealous that he was getting the best of his wife at the moment. "Well, that's all we gotta do for now, kiddo," he gripped his shoulder, rubbing his back firmly.

Isaac nodded and just continued to move forward, staring at his mom.

Once Stevie caught up to a person who she recognized from the floor, she asked Lindsey to get the kids situated and pull the car around since she didn't know where he parked. She then laid down her orders and what she wanted done while she was gone if something happened.

Of course, she was obeyed with her clear and polite statements.

She then ventured out of the main exit and she was met by Lindsey's silver Mercedes. Opening the door, she got in and enclosed herself. Once getting her seat belt on, she tossed her head back into the seat with a sigh escaping her.
