The months would pass by like feathers in the wind; sometimes quickly as they soared through their weeks and sometimes it felt like there was no movement, they were stagnant. Between the blonde and her kids, they were all silently counting the days till their father and husband came back since they had their small doubts, though they had their faith in him.

All Stevie hoped was that he was well and not making bad decisions based off the emotion filled moment. Though aside from that, she and the kids were back to their normal schedule before Lindsey had come back. The only real difference was that they were living the schedule in which would have been with the blonde going to her boyfriend's every couple of days. It's how it would have been had her husband not come back to town and she had to guess it all would have been the way it happened instead she'd not be torn between the men in her life.

Since Lindsey had gone; both wife and husband verklempt about their evening spent together.

Stevie decided to put that as just a thought but never the focus. Instead, she tried to focus on Ben because she decided not to tell him that she had unplanned sex with her husband---she didn't know how he would take it and she wasn't sure when to bring it up, therefore, she decided to keep her mouth shut and just enjoy his presence, even if it was eating at her slightly.

On Lindsey's side of things, he'd been keeping up with phone calls to the kids, he needed Natasha almost ten times more than he did on an average day and that was because he didn't necessarily get to meet up with her since he was touring and he didn't say much to his wife only because there wasn't really anything to say other than that he was doing well and wishing her well. It seemed the lack of communication was hard on his wife and he knew that, but he also didn't know why she was taking it so hard when they hadn't talked for years before his stay.

Moving into a week before he was supposed to come back, everybody was on edge; the kids and Stevie hoping he would come back well and healthy while he was nervous to even come home.

Three in the morning, Stevie was laying in bed---her eyes wide open as she laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling. With tears falling down either side of her face from each corner of her eyes, she didn't even wipe them.

She hadn't slept correctly since Lindsey decided to leave, the only time she did was when she went over to Ben's, but it was usually because their nights spent alone entailed they'd be up for hours and that wore her out before going to bed. Other than that, when she was home, she barely slept. And when she didn't sleep she cried and she really had no idea why, but she would wake up sad.

Over the weeks to pass, she tried to figure it out and the only thing she could think of was that she did, in fact, miss her spouse, but she didn't know why when she felt strongly that he was coming back, she had Ben, her kids were well, her mother was well. It just didn't make sense to feel sad for no reason, but she definitely hoped that she would get over it.

Sunrise was soon arriving, but just before then did the blonde wake up for work, leaving her kids to sleep in since it was summer vacation. However, they wouldn't sleep too much since she knew their grandmother would get them up and moving around.

Getting to work, she was dressed in her normal work attire and she immediately got on with her reports.

Since Lindsey had gone, the only thing to really pick up was how fast she was working and how much she was getting done. As of now, she was ahead---where she usually was.

When her phone started ringing, she picked it up abruptly as though it was a call entailing the end of the world.

Robin watched from her desk, how quick she was to answer and she arched a brow, but didn't say anything.
