Chapter 28

Nick POV

I was gaming with my friends back in my home town waiting for Dixie to get home, she messaged me and told me she was around 5 minutes away. I was talking to my friends playing fortnite and Bryce slammed my door open. I turned around and a tear drop ran down his face but at the same time he looked mad. "ADDISON AND DIXE SOMETHING IS WRONG, I DONT FUCKING KNOW" He fell to his knees and I didn't know what to do. What happened, is she okay, all the what if's came into my head. I ran downstairs and Bryce followed. Charli, Chase, Thomas, Daisy, Avani, Anthony, Larray were watching YouTube on the main tv. turn on the fucking news I yelled. Everyone frozen. Bryce was getting pissed "TURN ON THE NEWS" he yelled. Thomas flicked to the news channel.

"breaking news, a major car crash has happened, two woman seriously injured and headed to hospital now" fuck fuck fuck i paced up and down the living room. Everyone in the room was so confused. I was pacing behind the lounge and charli turned around and looked me in the eyes worried. That's when I broke down. Tears ran down my face, charli ran up to me and hugged me "what's wrong nick" I didn't answer. I hugged her trying to hope that it wasn't Addison and Dixie in the car. "FUCK NOOOO" Bryce yelled, I heard his crying "That's Addison's car". Bryce fell to the floor on his knees and broke down. Everyone surround him. Charli broke the hug and looked up at me with tears in her eyes "where is dixie" I didn't respond "where's my sister" her eyes started to water. "Dixie where are you" charli yelled as tears ran down her face. Chase ran over to her and hugged her tightly. I'm going to the hospital I said as I started to walk out the door, my eyes were watering. "no nick" chase yelled at me, chase I need to see her, he lifted charli holding her while hugging her "it's fine I will take you" we all got into our cars and drove to the hospital. The car ride was dead quite nobody was talking. Charli hadn't said one word. We got to the hospital and chase walked up to the reception lady.
"She said family, boyfriend/girlfriends only" so Charli and Nick you guys can go. Charli looked up at me, she saw that I was hurting "you can go be with her first nick" she smiled and hugged me while she cried. Bryce had already gone up to see Addison and I went.

I walked into the elevator, I walked in and saw this happy couple holding each other tightly. I was hoping she is okay, I mean she has to be. I walked out of the elevator and went to the room she was in. She lauded lifeless on the bed and she was attached to wires and machines. I looked at her for a while. "Sir can I help you" I turn around and a doctor is waiting outside. Uhm yeah, what's going on with Dixie. "Well she's in a coma" the doctor couldn't even finish there sentence I fell to the floor and cried. "Sir I'm so sorry" they said. They sat down next to me, "sir she can wake up from it, talk to her she can hear you" I looked at her and my heart shattered. I got up and the doctor walked off. I walked over to her and held her hand and I started to have a conversation to her.
"Hey baby girl, I'm so sorry this has happened. I love you so much always will. Please wake up soon angel please please. I won't be able to live without you, fuck I'm so in love with you. Baby you can leave me please don't. I'm not leaving till you wake up. Fuck dix you don't deserve this why did this happen to you. It was meant to be me and you against the world, our story was only beginning it can't end, the doctor told me if I talked to you, it might help you. If you can hear me right now, you can wake up you are so strong, I love you baby, I promise I will never leave you and one day we can get married and have kids. I love you baby always" I broke down tears streaming down my face as I held onto her hand and I kissed it softly.

Dixie's (Coma) POV

I feel trapped, I can hear everything but I can't open my eyes i feel lost and unable to see and help myself. I heard people rushing around "come on Dixie" "wake up", "she's stable but in a coma". They must have been doctors, but I was in a coma, this can't be happening. I might as well give up now. I heard crying outside my door but I can't see anything only darkness. It was nick. I tried to yell and call out to him but nothing was working. I couldn't do it. I felt useless. He held onto my hand and started talking to me. If I could say it out loud I would, but nick I love you, always and forever.
