(And it seems as though I had enough time to update chapter four haha. Tomorrow, I will try to update both this story and Fated for everyone! Enjoy~)

---(Y/n)'s Pov---

Several days ago, a meeting took place once again between Papyrus and I. Thankfully, his brother was not present which led me to believe that he was currently hanging out around Grillby's. For some reason, that skeleton has been showing up at the bar much more frequently... and I was going to question him about it, that is- until he happened to tell me why.

It took place two days ago, the night was dark with clouds hiding the stars. We were supposed to be closing earlier than usual, but Sans remained seated for awhile. "You should go home, Sans."

His shot glass smashed against the counter of the table as he sent me a glare. I made sure to raise my hands defensively once his irritation for me speaking became evident. "Another."

"You are quite drunk, and probably incapable of standing on your own two feet. If you do not leave, I will call Papyrus to come and escort you home." I said with authority. Leaning over the counter so that I could come face to face with this bone head, I couldn't help but feel aggressive towards him. "So. Either way, you are leaving. How you wish to go about it is entirely up to you."

He grumbled something, so I pulled away with a sigh. "What did you say?"

His eyes locked with my own, causing him to sneer. "I want Grillby ta get me another drink."

"Well, unfortunately... Grillby is asleep. You did this to him last night, therefore- I have decided to cover for him. You wont take a drink from me, so you only have two options here."

"Riiiiight. And where were ya last night, huh?" He asked with his sassy attitude. I raised an eyebrow at his question, not feeling inclined to answer. I was conducting some very important business that I intended on handling properly soon enough. Unfortunately, Sans wasn't inclined to know.

"Shopping." I stated.

"Shopping."

"Yes." I confirmed with a nod. He didn't seem too convinced by this, but I didn't care all the same. In an attempt to relax, I grabbed one of my red lollipops from within the pouch of my apron. Quickly, the wrapper was removed and the candy was popped into my mouth.

"Yer lyin' to me, sweets." He once again stated, his expression visibly became more annoyed by me. I placed two hands on each side of my hips, giving him a look that basically said 'so what?'

"I hate women like you." He then claimed, causing me to bite down on my small treat. I didn't really want to entertain him anymore, so I instead started to look around for the phone. By now, Sans had his hand on his empty shot glass, staring through the transparency of it. "Pretty gals like you... always have some damned plan for anyone that ya meet."

Wait. What?

Slowly my (E/c) eyes moved to meet with his unfocused gaze, he appeared almost unconscious from his drunken behavior. His words were slurred, reflecting well on his sloppy movements. "I'm not blind, ya know? Yer obviously pretty well groomed, came from a carin' family I'll bet."

"Oh, detective Sans. You have the assessment of a true judge- bravo." I stated sarcastically. I even managed to clap my hands to further demonstrate the words that I spoke. "Now that I've finished congratulating you, go home."

"Heh... heheheh... gotta keep an eye... on Humans like you."

Rolling my eyes, my hands finally managed to find the phone that I was desperately looking for. The night ended with Papyrus showing up to get his brother, while he apologized profusely for Sans' potential behavior. I didn't disclose anything with the taller skeleton, it was a waste of time.
