(Sorry for posting this a little later into the evening. I meant to do it earlier, but I was suffering from a headache haha. Anyway, I hope that you all enjoy!~)
---(Y/n)'s Pov---
The clock was against me once I started to feel the effects of that damned drug. If I walked out into public right now and started stumbling... they could take me in the middle of a crowd with nothing but their badges...
However, since I happen to be in this awful situation- then I might as well make the best of it. So... how can I play a mind game that will go accordingly? "So... I've noticed that a lot of people have been nervous as of late on the streets."
"Yeah..." Erick said with a slight nod. The two still haven't revealed their identities to me yet, but it wasn't an issue since I already knew who they were. "A few gangs have been stirring up trouble in the city."
"Oh? Well I hope that they don't break into the bar... we don't exactly have a lot of money for them to steal." I stated nervously. Putting on my innocent act seemed to be throwing them off, but my headache once the time came to around thirteen minutes was getting much worse.
"I doubt that they are after money, little lady." Erick continued. His friend was watching me intently, as if he were looking for the slightest opportunity that I just wasn't wiling to give. Honestly, If I screamed that they were trying to kidnap me right now... they were still above the law, and would probably claim that I was under the influence of drugs- and then arrest me.
Sure I could of asked Grillby to come by and casually escort me home- but that would again, look too suspicious. The Mobsters respected my desire to remain anonymous during my informant role, so they never backed me into a corner like this... ugh. Still, in the end, I had to rely on Sans to save me. "Any ideas on what they want then? I don't want to become a target..."
They both looked at me nervously, unsure of what to say. When I thought that they weren't going to continue, one of them instead took a bit of a gamble. Surprisingly, it was Jack who spoke first. "Well... apparently there is a rumor going around. A friend of mine mentioned that a Monster may of taken something of theirs..."
I blinked with confusion at that. It was very unexpected, in fact... who could of possibly given up that kind of information? "That's why we were wondering... you've been working with a Monster, in a bar that serves other Monsters-"
"If I saw someone suspicious like that, they wouldn't even be allowed to come inside! In fact... I'd probably quit!" I said frantically. They probably bought my panicked expression to some extent... though, that kind of information really threw me off.
Checking my phone in front of them, I narrowed my eyes to make it look like I got a text- when in fact... I managed to stay in here for twenty minutes rather than fifteen. I was already starting to feel a little groggy from the sedative. "O-oh... I apologize, but it seems that I need to go. Grillby needs me..."
And with that said, I got up from the chair, drank more of my tea, and then left. Knowing that they would be trailing behind me made me feel a little anxious, but still...
I had to trust Sans.
---Sans' Pov---
I sifted through piles of papers, only to finally come across the desired information that I was looking for. Due to the fact that I was watching that Erick guy the other day, I managed to follow him home. Since I knew where he lived- It wasn't that hard to raid his place.
