(Okay, so... I have two more days of being a bit busy, and then I can get back to my more frequent updating schedule! So thank you, everyone, for being patient! Also, I will try to get an update on Fated soon. Anyway, enjoy!~)
---(Y/n)'s Pov---
Absolutely terrifyingly calm.
I never thought that I'd have to define someone in such a way... but I was wrong. For the whole day that Sans took off, he sat nonchalantly in the corner of the bar, with a smoke between his teeth. One look would tell you that he was just relaxing, enjoying himself... although, another glance told a different story.
For those who weren't so aware of his presence, they remained idle and went about their business. None of them made a move today since Grillby's aggression was more than enough to keep them back- and then for those who knew that Sans was here? Well... they didn't even bother to speak.
It was still fairly early, a little too early for anyone to be drinking booze. To be fair, I wasn't particularly interested in pouring drinks at this hour with how sore my arm felt. Every time that I cringed while on the job, Grillby would send me a small glare as if to say 'stop.'
Actually, that fire Monster tried to stop me from working today. He wasn't very keen on the whole idea of me grabbing just about anything with my dominant arm so torn up from my wound. I was going to also ask Sans to let me out of the bar for today so that I could find a suitable Christmas gift for Grillby... and maybe even one for him... but that wasn't happening.
Ever since I got hurt, I've been treated like a frail and helpless lady. Out of irritation for that gesture, I decided to start working against their wishes... even though Sans didn't voice his opinion, I knew that he wasn't too happy about my decision.
Preparing my next cup of Golden Flower tea, I also made some for that skeleton since I refused to give him something stronger at this hour. Grillby wasn't one to hand out beer or anything at this time of day, since he'd rather deal with drunks during the evening when they had a reason to go home.
Putting the drink on a tray, I walked over to Sans who simply leaned into the comfort of his seat with a newspaper in hand. "What? No alcohol, sweets?"
Sans asked as I moved to put down a cup of tea in front of him. Before my fingers could even grab the cup, Sans snatched it from the tray that I was holding with my undamaged hand. He's been taking several glances at my bandaged injury, despite it being hidden by the sleeve of my greyish-blue shirt. I still wore my black waist coat, but my shirt from yesterday had to be changed due to my blood. "Sorry, Sans. This one is on me."
He stared at the drink for a moment, only to then return his gaze towards me with that signature lazy smirk. The newspaper that he was holding was neatly folded by his phalanges before he put it aside. "That's nice... hey, wanna sit with me for a bit?"
"I have work, Sans." I began, but he didn't seem to take that for an answer as his attention wandered off towards a certain wolf that was walking into the bar. I sent her a bit of a glare, not exactly amused by what she plotted out for me yesterday.
"Hey Grillbz, mind if I steal the little miss for a bit?" The skeleton asked loudly with his deep voice, immediately catching the attention of the fire Monster. Grillby looked relieved at the request, only to wave Sans off soon after. He has been trying to make me take the day off for awhile now, but I just wasn't giving in...
"Hello, Sir!" That damned wolf chirped beside me. Her green eyes scoped the seat next to him anxiously with the intent to sit down. "Oh my, what happened to your arm? Human, you shouldn't be out here working, you should go and relax in the back."
