---(Y/n)'s Pov---

"Christmas?" Sans stated, never looking away from the newspaper that he held in hand. I gave him a small hum, followed by me placing a cup of tea in front of him. It was later into the evening, almost closing time. That might seem strange since he was reading the newspaper and drinking tea... but I guess that it was his way of relaxing. "Tomorrow?"

"I wish to go shopping tomorrow to purchase a gift for Grillby. He insists that he does not need to celebrate it... but buying things for him creates the best reactions." I explained with a bit of a smile.

Sans finally pulled away from the paper that he was reading, only to see me leaned forward in front of him with a smirk. He maintained a neutral expression, casual as usual. "In fact, I might have to buy something for a certain skeleton..."

"Oh?" He pulled away from me, neatly folding the newspaper as he did. Since I didn't want to push my luck any further, I tried to keep it at that. The last message that I had Grillby deliver to Sans, it contained details about going on a heist with the 'informant' at the main hideout that was currently being used by the Alphas and some Ravens... tomorrow.

Poor Grillby was getting anxious for that mission since I'd be doing a little more than simple informing. Actually, he was probably hoping that Sans would say no to my request...

Speaking of that skeleton, he had a faint blue color highlighted along his cheek bones. It glowed faintly, causing me to reach out in an attempt to touch it... but he caught my wrist before I could go any further.

"Well then... if I let ya do this- then what's in it for me?" Typical mafia talk... give and take. I smiled at this slyly, leaning my weight against the counter that separated us.

"What would you like?" I replied, watching as Sans put both of his arms on the counter to also lean forward until our faces were barely apart.

"Twenty four hours."

I blinked out of confusion, surprised by what he just asked... or, was that even his request? "Care to elaborate?"

"I want ya for twenty four hours. Deal?" His hand reached out with his grin widening at my expression. I had work... though I'm sure if Sans asked, that Grillby would let him get away with having me for an entire day.

"Alright, but you must be the one to convince Grillby when the time comes." I stated with a small huff. Once my hand found his in a firm grip, Sans yanked his arm forward to bring me very close to his face.

"I'll handle the details, sweets." I could feel his breath against my lips, he was once again leaning in to steal that kiss that he's been waiting for... though for the past few days, every attempt has ended in failure. The first time, he was his own obstacle. Falling asleep... and then Grillby was another, followed by the dogs and then Frisk who actually snuck in a kiss on my cheek... while sticking their tongue out at Sans. I was surprised when the skeleton leaned forward to grab their tongue between his gloved fingers, only for Frisk to flail around in a panic.

"Ahem." Came a deep and strange voice. It had a unique accent to it, one that I couldn't place within any language. Sans on the other hand, seemed very, very annoyed. "Sans. Is this where you've been hiding? Old habits?"

"Gaster." And with that, Sans pulled away. From the name that he just gave, I immediately knew who he was. Grillby mentioned Gaster a few times, and stated how he was extremely intelligent... in fact, he put his intelligence to use when it came to torturing someone for information. "Can't ya see that m' busy?"
