Ideal

You mesmerized me, got me hooked with your unfathomable charm. You had me with your wit mixed with your incredible sense of humor. Your words, to me, are the sweetest type of sugar.

For years, I've built all available defenses, yet, you managed to take them all down. Was it your presence? Or my wall was not strong enough to hold you out?

You occupied my life and invaded my world. You became my home after a long, tiring ride. You were the rainbow after my chaotic storms. You were the oasis to my dessert-like soul, and in this hell, you were my Persephone.

You see, falling for you wasn't really surprising. For me, everything about you is perfect, almost close to being an angel.

You were my ideal girl.

No.

You ARE my ideal girl.

So ideal that I doubt I'd be enough to be your equal. I'm in hell and an angel can't stay here for long. I wanted to fight all these demons for you, but I'm afraid I would just hurt you in the process.

You are so pure and staying with me might hurt you. I won't be able to protect you in a battle against myself.

So, I let you go.

You deserve better, and I am just.. good.
