~Part 20~

NESSA'S POV

I don't think I've ever gotten up so fast in my life. I shot up and ran over to where the nurse was with Jaden and Mads behind me. She led us to a room where Josh was laying there alseep...I hope. Oh god please don't be fucking dead please. I walked over to him and grabbed his hand. Then the nurse started talking "so as you know he was hit on the head and he has a mild concussion, him passing out was most likely triggered from a mix of adrenaline and a sudden moment of pain (A/N this happens to me 😂 good time in preschool) he should be fine just needs rest and to take some pain meds when needed and stay away from any alcohol, drugs, louder noises, possibly bright lights if he is bothered by them, and a lot of physical activity that he could once again pass out. Other than that I would say a fast recovery and he should be a okay." "Thank you we are happy he's okay" Jaden answered "I'll leave you guys with him press that button if you need me for anything and he should be able to leave by morning we just have to keep him here over night" Jaden nodded and thanked her again. I just sat next to Josh staring at his face waiting for him to wake up. I know he's just sleeping and that he needs rest but it's driving me crazy. What if Chase has killed him. That son of a bitch. I have to do something right? I mean Josh being okay is my number 1 priority but I'm not going to let chase bully me. I'll figure something out. It had been about an hour and a half and it was like midnight maybe later. Mads and Jaden has fallen asleep but I just couldn't. I was going to be here and awake when he woke up. After another thirty minutes I was trying to stay awake by watching the cartoons on his little tv. When I felt his hand move. "Ness?" He said still half asleep "yeah Josh it's me" he smiled and I did too "she said you have a mild concussion and that you just need rest for a bit" he nodded "that's good" I squeezed his hand and he kissed mine "here come lay down you look exhausted" he said moving over I laid down next to him and he cuddled me and kissed my head "I love you" he told me "I love you too" we fell asleep.

*next morning*

I woke up to laughter and say Josh and Jaden playing a card game they must have found somewhere and Mads was laughing at how Josh was beating Jaden. "Good morning baby" josh said to me kissing my cheek "morning" I smiled and laughed with Mads. Jaden went and got us all breakfast after he excepted his defeat. While we were all eating the nurse came in "oh good your all awake, once your done eating Josh is good to go home and just come to the front desk to check out your clothes are in the bathroom" she told us we smiled "thank you" I told her she gave me a smile and walked out. Once we were done eating Josh went to change and Mads came and sat next to me "so how are you" "uh I'm good why are you asking" I said a little suspicious "because I know you and I know how you get Nessa and last night was hella stressful so I'm making sure your okay because I love you and I don't want you freaking out" I think Jaden could hear her but he seemed like he was going to ignore it "well I'm fine yeah I'm fine it was stressful but Josh is good so I'm good" I smiled and she seemed to believe me. To be quite honest I'm not good. Not at all. Sometimes when bad things happen like last night even after everything is okay there is this switch I'm my brain that I can't seem to turn back off that just keeping telling me that it was my fault that I caused it and that everyone would be better without me. It's like I know it's not true but if that voice tells me it enough I start to believe it. I know it's just me being weird and that I can't control chase but if I had never come that Josh wouldn't be in the hospital at all. Sure I would be miserable but maybe things would be better for him who knows. I just gotta get that out of my head. Josh loves you he wants you here. Then he walked out and I took his hand and we left out to the car and Jaden drove us home. Josh sat next to me in the back and put his hand on my thigh. Not gonna say I didn't like it. Ew Nessa stop just like be chill who says chill ugh. Once we got back in the house the boys all hugged Josh and it seemed like none of the other girls were there. Mads was going to go see her friend Indiana today and Bryce and Jaden were going with her. They asked if we wanted to come but I said that Josh needed rest and he tried to argue but I told him doctors orders. Mads laughed at me and my mom side. Griffin and Anthony were going to avanis apartment to see her and Dixie, Kio is in Florida with liv, and quinton is costing his parents. So it's just me and Josh today. We went up to his room and I made him lay down while I got him some water. When I got back up he was changing and damn were his abs nice he laughed. Shit I was staring. I stumbled out of my daydreaming state and handing him his water. He wrapped his arms around me "what were you looking at" I laughed "oh shut up" and play slapped him. We fell asleep that night and when I woke up I knew I had to go to meetings for most of the day, i know boring, so I left Josh with a note that said "I had to go to meetings today so sorry!! Get some more rest I'll see you tonight" and I left in my uber. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend.

A/N: i have big things planned for the next chapter!! You might be mad at me tho..... also looks like Mads, Jaden, Josh, and Nessa are living together a literal dream I can't their so cute.
