My Forever - Nessa Barrett and Josh Richards

~Part 30~

JOSH'S POV

I missed this. All the people who come here because they support us, the good kind of chaos, and being with my friends like this. First night was definitely a rough start but I know we'll get through it.

I know Nessa isn't okay. I mean she told me about her anxiety before but last night I really saw it. I was so scared for her and I felt terrible.

Snap out of it Josh you have to be with the supporters. Girls we giving me hugs and I was smiling for pictures. I looked over at Nessa and saw her whispering to a girl whose friends had kept walking. Then I saw the girl give her a big hug and it looked like she might cry. I love Nessa so much.

NESSA'S POV

This is not what I expected. There are 200 excited people in line to meet us. This may be the most insane thing I've ever experienced in my life.

I saw a girl come through wearing still softish sweatpants and I laughed a little. I saw Chase roll his eyes and Josh and Bryce do a fist bump behind them.

I hugged a lot of people and took pictures. I had a lot of bracelets already, some Scrunchies, fan art, and other little things people made me. I was so happy that I had all of these people to support me.

After we all went through about 75 people there was this group of 3 girls who came up to me, they were all about 12 maybe 13 and gave me a hug. The one girl stuck out though. I noticed the scars and fresh cuts she had on her arm. It broke my heart.

I know what it's like to hurt yourself and be in such a dark place. I didn't want to point it out in front of her friends so I waited for them to move over to Avani and I pulled her back.

"I know what your going through. I don't know what's causing it or how you feel but I know I've been there. But hey listen to me." I whispered and she looked in my eyes. "No matter what it is, it's not worth hurting yourself. No matter what it could be you are worth being in this world, you are a beautiful young woman who has her whole amazing life in front of her. Promise me that you'll spend it the best you can. Because you deserve to have the most amazing life anyone can have." I continued putting her hands in mine and giving her wrist a little kiss. "I promise" she said.

"Remember that" I paused because I didn't know her name "Annabelle" she told me. "Well Annabelle, just remember that promise. Always. Because I'll remember you. And I love you and I will pray that whatever it is that hurts you goes away and that you'll be happy everyday." I told her and tears formed in her eyes.

I wiped the tears that fell down her face and she jumped and gave me the biggest hug. "I will remember! I promise! That you Nessa!" She said and went to get back to her friends.

I looked up and saw Josh starring at me with a smile on his face and I smiled back. He didn't know what I had said or what had happened, but I could tell he knew I did something that meant something to a young girl who reminded me of me.

The next two or so hours was just the rest of the people getting to meet us. This was kinda of exhausting I will say especially after last night.

By this point the meet and greet part was over and it was time for Jaden to perform then the Q and A.

He did the acoustic version of angels and demons (GO STREAM THAT SHIT ITS FIRE) and it was amazing. The crowd went wild and everyone watched him and I whispered to Mads "you'll be front row at his first concert supporting him like you always have Mads" and she responded "yeah I hope so" and smiled at me and I smiled back.

I wish I could do what Jaden does. Sure yeah I'm an okay singer but I could never write a song and perform it like that. Crazy. That boys got talent.
