what the hell am I supposed to do. I'm sitting here listening to Nessa tell me about how I hurt her but she loves me more and is better because of it. I think. Honestly I'm not sure but she loves me still so that's good.
Josh her birthday is in a week you gotta do somthing special. Not like a party just the two of you. I started looking things up on my phone while she slept and snores lightly. She's so adorable when she sleeps.
I set an alarm for 10 because I knew she was meeting Mads at 12 and she had to be up at some point. I went to sleep planning the best Jessa birthday ever.
NESSAS POV
I woke up to Josh tapping me lightly. "Ness you gotta get up" I heard. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes. He handed me some water and I smiled. "Morning" I said. "Morning" he laughed "you have to go see Mads in two hours" he told me. I groaned "don't remind me" he rubbed my back. "I really don't wanna go josh" I said. "I know but you should give her a chance to apologize again I guess I don't know I'm not good at drama" I said and I laughed a little.

And ate some yogurt while Josh and I watched big mouth
"It's 11:30 Ness want me to take you?" Josh asked i nodded and we left for Starbucks where I was meeting Mads at a table outside.
I got my coffee and Josh waited in the car while I sat across from her. "Hey Nessa" she said. "Hi" was all I said. "Okay so Im just gonna start talking" she said and I nodded.
"I'm sorry for the way I reacted when you came to me about Chase. I should have been more supportive and helped you but I was too caught up in worrying about my own image instead of being there for my best friend. I just hope we can go back to the way we were." She told me.
You know old Nessa might have just let her slide and acted like nothing happened but new Nessa isn't gonna get walked all over to get hurt again.
"Look Mads I get that your sorry but I came to you two weeks ago to try and fix this and you didn't want to. So no we can't be the way we were because I may be able to forgive you and I do but that doesn't change the fact that we grew apart. Olivia, Darianka, and Lauren were there. The hell even Cythina after everything. You weren't. You didn't so much as text me the day my song came out no no you reposted it on your story so that people will keep blaming me for us not being close anymore and you can still be picture perfect Mads that everyone loves. I'm not gonna do it. I'm sorry. Thank you for being my friend when you were and we can be around each other and stuff I don't hate you but I'm not gonna be your best friend again."
She looked disappointed. "No one is blaming you" she said. "Are you serious have you read tik tok room or your comments with anyone saying "glad you dropped Nessa" are you blind or do you choose to pretend you don't see it to seem more innocent. That's bullshit if you really believe no one blames me." I told her.
"Okay so people blame you but your fine now aren't you with your little girl squad. I mean cmon Nessa. Darianka? She's such a snake." She told me and I scoffed.
"That night that everything went down I might have killed myself i might have hurt myself and I was real fucking close until D came to check on me and stayed with me. Cleaned me up, turned off my phone, and comforted me. But you wouldn't know that because you were too busy upholding your angel image." I said and she looked shocked. "Ever think maybe you don't know Darianka as well as you think you do? Or my "girl squad" as you say. Lauren is the sweetest person you will ever meet. Olivia would do anything for her friends. And Darianka doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks about her or her friendships she loves us and she gets what I and everyone goes through and supports you." I told her
"I'm sorry I'm not them but I'm trying to fix this Nessa it's stupid that we aren't friends" she said. "Mads do you really want to be my friend again? I mean I am cancelled, I kissed Chase, I'm friends with Darianka. Is that something you want on your image Mads?" I asked her. "I um Nessa I t-" I cut her off. "That's what I thought"
I stood up "nice to see you" I walked back to Josh in the car. "How'd it go" he asked. I laughed "doesn't even matter" he started to drive and we went back to my apartment and he started helping me pack up my stuff since I was moving into a new one. "Nessa are you gonna be alone in your new apartment cause I don't think you should be" Josh said. "No I don't think I will I have someone I wanna ask to live with me" I said smiling.
"Well based on today I'm gonna guess it isn't Mads" he said. "Nope" I laughed and we finished packing up my stuff and put it into the uhaul he rented for me and drove to my new apartment.
There were two frames waiting for me. One was of my song cover and the other was a collage. I smiled and Josh hung them up while he held me unpack everything into the different rooms. "So whose gonna sleep in the second bed" he asked sitting in the only bedroom with the two beds. "I'm gonna go find out I said grabbing my keys and he smiled giving me a hug goodbye and going home.
I drove to the hype house and saw D and ryland sitting in the garage. "D i have a question" I yelled and she ran up to me and gave me a hug. "What is it" she asked. "Wanna come live with me" I asked her and her face lit up and she smiled.
