My Forever - Nessa Barrett and Josh Richards

~Part 21~

NESSA'S POV

I hate meetings so much. It's cool that they want to help me make merch and that they are willing to pay for me and Mads rent and I'm so thankful for it but I just hate being in a room with all these people staring at me. I can't wait to see Josh when I get home. Finally all my meetings were over and I got into the Uber and checked my phone. 7 pm. Ugh I've been gone all day. I put my phone back down and laid my head back. Then my phone rang. Anthony. I answered "hello?" "Hey Nessa I uh I don't know if you should come back to Sway right now" "Anthony why what's going on" "I um" they I heard a lot of yelling in the back and a crash "Ant what the hell was that" "nothing they just knocked a picture down it's fine" "Anthony I'm on my way" "uh" I ended the call. What the hell is going on. I pulled up to the house and got out and burst through the door. Anthony was standing there "hey Nessa I don't-" he was cut off my Josh stumbling down the stairs. "Hey baby" he slurred wrapping his arms around me. Oh my god was he drunk "Josh what happened" "what are you talking about I just had one drink with Bryce and Griffin" I rolled my eyes and tried to walk away but he chased after me "Why are you mad at me princess" "I'm not mad but I'm not going to try and have a conversation with you when you can barley stand straight" Jaden came over looking concerned "What do you mean I'm fine" Josh looked irritated "I mean that you are gonna hurt yourself you already have a concussion and I leave you for one day and you can't even follow one simple direction what the hell has gotten into you Josh" I walked out towards the balcony and Josh kept following me he grabbed my shoulder and I shook him off "Why are you being such a bitch" "a bitch?" I gave him the worst look I could. "Are you kidding me Josh you don't get to call me a bitch when I do everything for you and yet here you are drunk not caring about a word I say" he rolled his eyes "ya know Nessa why don't you just relax go home and stop worrying about me because what I do isn't your business" "well if that's how you feel maybe I shouldn't be your girlfriend" he stared at me. I knew that he didn't know what he was saying but I was so mad and I just couldn't stop the words from coming out. "Did you just break up with me" he started to raise his voice and Jaden came over to make sure he didn't do anything "yeah I did" I walked past him and ran outside and Mads met me out there and called an Uber "Nessa" "Just dont I don't wanna talk about it" she just hugged me and we went to the apartment with my stuff that she brought down and hers as well and we moved in that night. We had been ordering things there and we stayed up till 3am building the different things in our apartment. I didn't fall asleep at all I just cried and she sat with me. "I broke up with him Mads I did it and I didn't mean it I need him back" "I know just talk to him tomorrow he won't register anything you say tonight" I nodded and we stayed like that all night.

*the next morning*

JOSH'S POV

I remember everything. I thought part of being drunk was forgetting what happened but I remember everything she said and well everything I said. Shit. I lost her. She's gone.
*flashback*
Nessa ran out the door. Do I go after her? No she broke up with me. It's over Josh. "Yo buddy were going on a road trip tomorrow me you Blake and Jaden" I just nodded and went and packed some clothes. I started crying. I never cry. I lost Nessa I blew it. I drank another beer. I gotta just go tomorrow and forget about her have a good time yeah. That's what I'm gonna do. I passed out on my bed.
*end of flashback*
Last night was a lot. And now we're leaving. Bryce rented a van and before we left me and Jaden smoked a little bit and I can't say I wasn't a little high. Jaden was too. Overal we were having a good time but I just kept thinking about Nessa so I did some more of the stuff Jaden brought. When we got to the Airbnb Bryce and Jaden said they were going to pickup food. Bryce told Blake and I to stay here but I insisted on coming. When we got their well things went south real fast.

NESSA'S POV

The sun came up. Ugh I didn't sleep at all. We got up and got Starbucks and listened to music. "I want to talk to him" I told Mads she nodded and told the Uber were to go. When we got their I walked in "oh Nessa hey" griffin said. "Uh hi where's Josh" it smelled like weed in here like a lot like weed. "Griffin what is that smell" I said before he could answer my first question "well um Jaden and Josh kinda" what the hell is with him. "And Uh him Jaden Bryce and Blake left on a road trip to Texas and Louisiana I think" "your kidding" I said feeling a lump Form in my throat as I choked back my tears. "So their High and going into Texas where it's ilegal" "uh I think yeah" I was panicking. This isn't happening. Then his phone rang and his face dropped. "What can we do" he said and then after a minute he said "okay thank you just um please keep me posted" the phone call ended "what happened" Mads asked him "well we have a problem"
