NESSAS POV

"Hey Mads" I said as she walked in. Everyone else had left besides Josh. "Josh could you step outside" Mads asked him. He gave me a worried look and I said "it's not like I'm gonna Tun away while your gone" he laughed and kissed my cheek.

"So I wanted to talk. Again." She told me and I pointed to the chair next to me for her to sit. "Okay so I'm just gonna y'all because I've been thinking a lot and I'm just really hoping you'll hear me out" she said "I'm listening" I said.

"I miss you. I miss my best friend. Nessa I screwed up. I should have never responded to you the way I did, I should have supported you, to be honest I was just so scared, so scared that if I was involved someone would try and expose me or Jaden for something and ruin everything. Which happened anyway despite my effort to stay out of it. It was selfish. I wasn't there when you needed someone, when you needed me to be there, I feel so awful for the things I've said and the ways I've hurt you since that night. I understand and accept that you may never really forgive me or want to be my friend again, but I'd really like it if I could have a second chance to earn back your trust because this time u don't want to mess it up. Just all of this. Sitting out there not knowing if your okay really hit me hard and I just kept thinking what if I never got to apologize and make things right. I know now that I messed up not you. I'm sorry." She finished.

I took a deep breath. Nessa. You forgave Cynthia for kissing Josh and you guys are really close now. Charli forgave you. You may not have forgiven Josh but Mads is different. I want to give her a second chance. "I forgive you. I let this go on far too long and I'm sorry for that. Thank you for everything you just said. I would like it a lot if we were friends again." I told her and she lit up.

"Really? Thank you." She said hugging me carefully. She walked out and Josh came back in looking surprised "did I just see a hug?" He asked. "Yes you did" I laughed. "Can I be next?" He said. "Josh..."

MADS POV

I walked out and ran into Darianka. "Oh I'm sorry" I said. "No no your fine I'm all over the place I need to watch where I'm going" she laughed to herself. Nessa gave you a second chance. Give her one Mads. "We haven't really talked that much but I'm sorry for the things You've probably heard I said or did. I can just be really stubborn sometimes" I told her. "It's cool. I get it. If I only knew the things I saw on the internet about me I wouldn't like me either" she said laughing. "I need to get better at making realationships outside social media matter more" I said. "well I'm happy you think that" she smiled and waved goodbye walking over o Olivia.

Okay Mads you've got your best friend back. I smiled to myself and did a little spin. I got my best friend back.

NESSAS POV

"What?" He asked me. "What about Noah" I said. "You don't have to worry about him Mads took care of it. He wants you to be happy and knows what happened. It's all good" he told me.

I don't know if this is what I want. I mean do I want Josh back? I don't know. "Josh I know your sorry and I know you feel bad but I just can't. I'm sorry. I still don't know what I want."I told him. "I get it" he said looking defeated. "Please don't be upset" I said grabbing his hand.

I looked into his eyes. Oh those eyes. "Could you get me something to drink I'm thirsty?" I asked him and he nodded and left.

Am I making a mistake? Why did no one write instructions for this shit. I don't know what I'm doing. "Janesa?" I heard a voice say. "MOM" I yelled. "Well you perked up" she laughed. "I guess" I shrugged. She sat down next to me. "Mama I need help. I don't know what to do about Josh" I told her resting my head on her shoulder. "Well I know he loves you and you love him quite a lot don't you? So why not give him another chance." She said. "But what if I get hurt again" I asked.

"Sadly getting hurt is all part of growing up and living life. If you were afraid to get hurt you'd never do anything. Everything has risks but some risks are just worth taking." She told me kissing my head. Maybe she's right. Maybe this is what I'm supposed to do.

I laid down and fell asleep faster than I thought. I felt my mom leave and someone replace her. Josh. I wrapped around him and let myself sleep.

JOSHS POV

I walked back in to find nessa asleep on her mom. Her mom got up and pulled me outside. "I know what happened and I know that my daughter loves you but I also know she doesn't want to be hurt again" she told me. "What do I do" I asked. "1. Show her you won't do it again 2. Give her the time to trust you again 3. Dont screw it up again" she told me. "Got it" I said and she laughed a bit.

I walked in and laid down next to her and she fell asleep on me. "She can go whenever she's ready" the nurse came in and said. "Okay I'll let her know when she wakes up. Thank you" "yep just sign her out when she's up" she told me and left.

Nessa was asleep for maybe an hour and half and when she woke up Bryce came in. "Good morning Kiddo" he said. She rolled her eyes. "It's 3pm Bryce" she said. "Hey Im not the one sleeping am I?" He said and she laughed.

"Ness you can go whenever your ready" I told her and she got up and got dressed. "Hi so uh we may have a small problem" Addison said coming in the room. "What" I asked. "Pap outside. Like a lot of them. At least 15 waiting for their picture and title" she told me. "That's not a small problem that's a big problem" I said. "What is" Nessa said walking out.

"Paparazzi" I told her. She looked scared. The rest of the girls came in. "We have a plan" Charli said. "What is it" I asked. "Me, Addison, Amelie, Avani, Dixie, Chase, Mia, and Anthony are gonna go keep them occupied and then Olivia, Lauren, Cynthia, Mads, And Darianka are gonna walk in front of her. Bryce, Blake, Jaden, Griffin, and Thomas will walk behind her and cover her. You and Noah are gonna walk out together because they will assume she's with one of you. And then they won't be able to see her in the crowd of all of us." Charli explained.

"You think it will work?" I asked and they all nodded and said "I hope" "alright let's go" Nessa said.

NESSAS POV

the plan was in action. Group A was talking to the pap outside answering questions. Group B was huddled in front of me and Group C was behind means they all clumped together.

I had my hug sweatshirt on and Darianka and Olivia were holding my hands. We walked out in a big group and some of the cameras went to Josh and Noah, some were still talking to Charli and them. And some came over to us. They were taking tons of pictures and one saw me and was yelling "NESSA NESSA WHAT HAPPENED?"

Cynthia talked to him "she doesn't need to answer to you. Could you all just please try and respect someone's privacy" she said to them all.

The started getting closer and pushing towards me and I got all nervous. "Your good" Griffin said behind me "just keep walking" he told me so I did. Finally we reached the car and they tried to get to me as I got in but Bryce and Blake stopped them. "Hey back it up it's none of it business" Bryce told them and we closed the van door.

All the girls were in one and all the boys in the other. "You okay?" Charli asked me. "Yeah I think so. Definitely could have been worse" I told her. "Thank you" I said hugging them all.

We drove and everyone got dropped at different places and I got dropped off at Josh, Jaden, and Anthony's with Mads. She held my hand as we walked in and Josh and Jaden were on the couch. "Did they harass you" Josh asked "I'm sorry I tried to get to you, are you alright" he said hugging me. "Josh I'm fine I promise" he did look like he believed me but I didn't care.

I sat down on the couch and fell asleep in minuetes. I need a break.
