NESSAS POV

I woke up in a room with bright lights connected to machines with people I didn't know all around me. Hospital. It sent me into a spiral of flashbacks. Flashbacks to the days I would hurt myself too bad. When I tried to commit. When my eating disorder was at its worst. I hate hospitals.

Suddenly I couldn't breathe again and I felt like my head was going to burst. I felt a needle go into my arm and everything get blurry and then. Nothing.

JOSHS POV

I didn't sleep all night. I just sat there staring at that door waiting for her to come out. She never did. Waiting for a nurse to tell me I could see her. They didn't. "Josh you should get some sleep" Darianka told me. "No I have to watch you sleep" i told her. "Tried. Doesn't work" she said sitting next to me putting Olivia's head on lauren.

"You worried" I asked her. "Is that even a question" she said pushing her hair back. "Same" I said. "What happened josh. I saw you guys kiss but why did this happen. She's been doing so good" she asked me. "She got all worried about Noah being mad about us kissing and worried he would hate me and that she ruined everything. She got really upset and couldn't find her anxiety pills. She made me stay in the car but I got out anyway. I was too late. When I got up there I called 911 and now we're here" I explained. "It's not your fault" she told me. "You don't have to sugar coat it I know it's my fault" I told her. "I know Nessa would hate that your blaming yourself" she told me as the sun was rising.

"You can fix this you know" she told me and I gave her a look. "She won't be mad forever. I mean cmon we all know she'll never love Noah like she loves you. In fact none of us can imagine either of you with anyone else. We talk about it quite often actually" she told me. "Is that so" I laughed. I checked the time 6:00.

Her parents will be here in an hour and she's still not out of that room. I saw some of the doctors leave the room but still no signal to see her.

The hour passed just as slow as the rest. Everyone was waking up and I saw her mom burst through the door. "Where's my daughter" she asked the receptionist. "Ma'am you can't see her yet" her mom was angry but walked over to us.

I explained what happened and she gave me a hug. "I'm sorry you had to find her like that" she told me and her dad agreed. "I'm sorry it's my fault" I said. "No no don't blame yourself
You couldn't have caused or stopped this" her Dad said to me.

All the girls still had tear stained faces and were upset. "Come here girls" her mom said and she gave them all a big hug. "It's gonna be okay" she said. I hope so.

The receptionist came towards me and I stood up "she's awake. They are working on transferring her to a room where you can all visit her" she told us and I was so relieved. "Is she gonna be okay" Mads asked her. "Yes she will be f-" the woman stopped her sentence as an announcement went off "CODE BLUE IN ROOM 102" she ran away from us into the room the we're keeping Nessa.

(I did my research and code blue is for seizures. Also, this is what happened to Dixie she had severe anxiety and it caused her to have a seizure)

"What's a code blue" Addison asked. "Seizure" Griffin said quietly. (Nurse boi) "What did you just say" I asked him. "She's having a seizure. They can be caused by anxiety in certain instances" Dixie answered "It happened to me in high school"

No no no. She's supposed to be okay. This isn't supposed to be happening.

NESSAS POV
*dreaming*

"Mom" I asked. She didn't respond. "Dad" . No answer. "Josh" I asked the boy hugging someone. "Mads?"

"Guys? Why is no one answering me? Hello?" I said. I looked around. Hospital. Wait. I turned and there was me. No. No. I don't want this. Stop. Make it stop. "Am I dead? Why Can no one hear me" I called out.

I walked over to my mom crying. Josh crying. Mads crying. My dad crying. "No stop. I'm right here. IM RIGHT HERE"

My dream stopped. I heard beeping machines and people rushing in and yelling. "CODE BLUE"

Make it stop. Please make it stop.

JOSHS POV

everything stopped. The yelling stopped. They all cane out of the room. Everyone who had ran in. The nurse care back to me. "They got it under control. She should be moved soon. I will let you know when" she told us.

More waiting.

MADS POV

why. Why Nessa. She wasn't supposed to get like this. She wasn't supposed to be in the hospital. She wasn't supposed to have a seizure. She was supposed to be okay. She was supposed to be my best friend.

I just want to be able to say sorry. I want to tell her how much I miss her. How bad I messed up. Please please let me do that. No more pain for me. Please just let her be. She deserves a good life.

I was crying and Jaden came to hug me but I pushed him off and ran to the bathroom. I left her. I should have been there. But I was stupid I let her go because I didn't want drama. Fuck that. She was your best friend Mads. "Mads you okay?" I heard someone ask. "Who is it" "addi" the girl said.

"What if I never get to say sorry" I asked her hugging her breaking down. "Hey hey look at me. You heard the nurse she's gonna be fine okay. It's just complicated." She said wiping my tears.

We went back out and I caught a glimpse of her in that room unconscious. I want my best friend back.

JOSHS POV

I saw the door open and then wheel her into another room on a table. I stood up and the nurse came over. "Wow you all must really care to have a whole group of you stay here for hours just to see one girl" the nurse said "of course we do" Olivia told her. "Well she's asleep but I would be quiet she'll wake up when she wakes up. Go ahead"

Me, her mom, dad, Mads, Darianka, Olivia, and Addison went in first. Everyone else stayed by the door and some of the girls went to the gift shop to get her flowers and stuffed animals and balloons.

I sat down next to her. The steady beeping played in the silence. I watched her for what felt like hours. It was only 20 minutes when her eyes fluttered open. "Josh?" She asked. "Hey Ness" I told her. "Mama?" She asked "yeah baby it's me" "dad" she said opening her eyes a bit more. "Hi princess"

I kissed her head and she held my hand. I sat there with her. I'm never leaving you again Janesa Jaida Barrett.

MADS POV

I'm gonna fix this. She's awake and I'm waiting to see her until she sees the people she likes. "What the hell" I heard Noah say as Josh kissed her head. I pulled him aside. "Alright you listen to me. I swear to god if you say one mean word to her I will beat your ass and push you right off the side of that hill over there down into the bay full of sharks. Her and Josh kissed because they are soulmates. You aren't gonna say shit. Your gonna get let her go because you and I both know it was never gonna work out. Your gonna get over you little crush and most of all you won't hurt her or josh because hurting Josh hurts her. Do you understand?" I said to him firmly.

"Yes" he nodded looking sad. "Are you sure because if you do somthing I will find out" I told him. "Your right. I know your right. I want her to be happy. So I'm gonna let her be happy. But Mads I don't get why you care so much you aren't even friends" he said to me. "Because I'll always love her as my best friend and no matter how mad she gets at me or I get at her that won't change. I know that now. Thank you for letting her be happy" I told him and he smiled and sat down next to blake on a bench.

I walked in the room. "Hi Mads" she said. Okay here goes.
