MAUREEN's POV

"Good evening students! It's already 6:00 PM now. Meaning to say, your 120 minutes is already finished. This is the real start of your exam. This game called Killing Spree. This game has no rules to follow."

"You only need to do is to stay alive until 9:00 PM in the evening. Those people who will stay alive until that time, they are the one who will go to next college year level. They will also be the one who will know the name of our University but not the sweet secrets of ours. Enjoy killing students!"

Ano bang meron sa pangalan ng university na ito? Oo gusto kong malaman yung pangalan ng university dahil sa curiosity ko pero parang napaka big deal naman nito sa kanila?

Tumingin ako kay Kenji na mayroong naiiritang ekspresyon kaya pinangunutan ako nito ng noo na wari ba'y nagtatanong ito sa akin kung anong meron sa akin ngayon at bakit ako naiirita.

"The university. Bakit napaka big deal naman nito sa mga taong nasa likod ng exam natin?" Bumuntong hininga ito ng mahina sa akin at pagkuwa'y naglakad paakyat ng hagdan sa nalipatan naming building na pagtataguan.

"Alam mo, parang nanghuhuli lang naman sila ng isda eh. This is just a bait again. Natatandaan mo pa ba kanina ang sinabi nila bago magsimula yung unang exam game natin?" Huminga ako ng malalim at inalala at tinitigan siya ng seryoso sa kanyang likuran.

-FLASHBACK-

"Your exam is just an easy pussy like what others said awhile ago. This is a game kiddos. In short, your exam is just a game. No need computations, memorization, and etc."

"This game called Killing is Necessary. You only need to gather information about the university but there's a twist about it. Do you want to know what is it?"

"Before that, let me tell you about some information of our game called Killing is Necessary. Using a combination of books and old fashioned tactile clues in the library of our university, players are challenged to solve 166-year-old clues that will reveal the truth behind the secret of our university. In a university of fact and fiction, players work the ancient case as masters gatherers. Your group is broken into teams, each competing to be the first to solve the mystery."

"I know that all of you is curious about the university right? This is your chance to discover what are those secrets. You can form a group to fasten your information gathering. It can also be partnership only."

"I'm not yet finished talking here so you should show some respect to me and let me finish talking!"

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"Naaalala ko pa. Buti naman at ipinaalala mo pa sakin dahil bago pa man magsimula yung unang exam game natin, nangangati na ang dila kong magtanong sayo about the game." Pinaglaruan ko ang hawak kong baril sa hinlalaki kong daliri at nahulog sa malalim na pag iisip.

Napahinto ito sa kanyang paglalakad paliko ng pasilyo na tatahakin namin at napatingin sa akin na may nagtatanong na tingin.

"Spill your question Maureen. We're running out of time to find a new classroom to hide." Tumingin ako dito at pumunta sa tabi niya.

"Kaya ba pinag grupo grupo nila ang mga kapwa natin estudyante sa unang laro natin ay para madali nilang mapatay ang mga taong may interesado sa sikreto ng university?" Puno ng kaseryosohang tanong ko sa kanya habang matamang nakatitig sa kanyang mga mata.
