Chapter 21: Anxiety

After receiving the note from Chan we all got together to plan the route we would take to make sure that nothing happens to Namjoon during the meet up. We decided that we would arrive about fifteen minutes after they settle into the booth at the club to talk. It was honestly one of the most carefully planned out missions that we have been assigned so no funny business, everything has to go according to plan or else we'll have other problems on our hands.

Me and Tae have agreed not to tease each other today that's how important it is to stay focused today. Speaking of we're just finishing packing up to go out to meet at the spot but I realize that Tae looks a little worried which he usually isn't. I move over to his side of the bed and kneel down to look at him at eye level, cupping his cheeks slightly

"Tae Tae you ok?"

He looks up at me with those beautiful puppy dogs eyes and I swear I could melt at the sight

"Yeah, just a little worried is all..what if Chan finds out we're following and tries to kill Joon, like I know we're all mad at him right now but I don't what we would do if something happened to him.."

His head dropped a bit but I quickly lift it back with my hands

"Baby don't worry yourself too much..we've done stuff like this before. Remember when we had to follow Joon when he met with S.Coups cause he shorted us on money? It was fun and it went off without a hitch-"

"Yeah but this is different and you know it. Chan and Joon have beef from years ago, S.Coups and Joon are friends so of course they wouldn't hurt each other..but I know that a man like him would kill Namjoon without a moments hesitation."

He's right something doesn't settle easy with me about this mission but regardless we have to keep our razor sharp personas and do what needs to be done in the event that things don't work out the way we want them to.

"Tae trust me everything will be fine so put on that snooty attitude and we can cuddle and talk later ok?"

He nods and I place a soft kiss on his lips to reassure him that everything will be alright even though I'm not sure that it will be.

We head out with the determination to keep our leader safe being sure to leave all our fears and doubts at the door.

I pull up to the all black building with sliver letters that read out "De Aqui No Sales" which roughly translates to "You don't leave here" which only makes things worse for my passenger who has been letting out heavy and long sighs the entire car ride.

We get out the car and pull up our face masks up to better conceal our identities, making our way inside the building. I noticed the three Stray's hidden around the entrance and clear to let Tae know that we need to be diligent. We make our way into the spot and I shift my eyes around the dimly lit room spotting that their were more than three Stray's placed in then room, Joon had to have noticed it too when he came in judging by the look on his face. Tae pulls me to a booth that is one away from the two leaders, it's perfect for listening but not too close to get caught, at least not right away.

"Namjoon, how you been buddy?"

"Cut the shit Christopher, what did you call me here for?"

"Damn, getting right to the meat hm? I've heard that you've always been one to get straight to it but I didn't think it applied to business too"

He chuckles but the tension was thick that it travelled through the air, making it stale

"You came to make jokes? I don't you'll find it funny when I take your fucked up mob down..making sure to kill its source oh wait that's you."
