After the incident at the diner and the hand-job in the car, me and Tae find a dark alley to park in with a view of the Stray's base. It's about 10:30am, if we had taken anymore time we would have risked being caught by Chan or another Stray. I look over at Tae whose eyes are glued to his phone with a huge frown plastered on his face.
"What?"
"Oh nothing Jimin is just texting me about something"
"That was the vaguest sentence I have ever heard. What she saying?"
He looks down at his phone and shakes his head
"The same shit, about us not thinking of others.. I know he's worried but I'm fine with everything that is happening with us I'm having fun"
The tone in his voice sounds more like he is trying to convince himself and that alone makes me feel ten times shittier about what we've been doing
I know it's wrong, I do but at the same time I just don't want to stop.
"Yea, I'm enjoying what we do and if you want to stop just let me know"
He looks up at me and smiles that signature boxy smile and I just know that this won't end well.
About five minutes later and we see a car pull out from the Stray base and now it's all work no play
"Count off"
Tae counts to 30 and as soon as he says the last number we pull off following Chan's car
Surprisingly the place where he was having his meeting was not far at all. When we pull up the building looked like some sort of club with the sign The Beginning being faintly illuminated seeing as its bright outside.We park in the back and wait in the car for about five minutes and start planning on how to get in the club without being noticed.
"So what are you thinking?"
I look at Tae who is staring at the building sign with furrowed eyebrows
"Wait doesn't Solar work here?"
I shrug my shoulders while he pulls out his phone and makes a phone
"Hey Solar, you work at The Beginning right?...Are you working now?...Can you let us in through the back?...Ok"
He hangs up the phone and pops out of the car, while I sit there not fully comprehending what just happened
"Come on dipshit she's gonna let us in"
I roll my eyes and get out of the car following Tae to the rusted door. Tae knocks twice firmly on the door and it flies open revealing a slender blonde woman
