Stop right there!!!
Before you head on to read the first volume of Psychics' Psyche, there are few things you must you must be informed of:
1. The novel has a "gimmick" of sorts and that is its official soundtrack. This is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, but the soundtracks can quite possibly turn your reading experience into something else entirely. There will be a few chapters where the music is only at the background to enhance /support the mood of the scene but there are others that follow the pace of the song and its lyrics. Some scenes where the lyrics of the song are synced to what's happening, you can choose to ignore the italicized lyrics if that ever bothers you. I repeat, THIS IS NOT NECESSARY IN UNDERSTANDING THE PLOT. But the true Psychics' Psyche experience does have something to do with the soundtrack so bare that in mind.
