Athanasia whined in pain as her hands were soothing over her own forehead. Waking up to an excruciating headache was not a good way to start the day. She stared at the curtains as light reflected through with such divinity.

"I need another way to celebrate next time..." Couldn't gather enough strength to get up, she stayed in bed, eyes staring at the white ceiling above.

There was no way she could go back to sleep. However, she closed her eyes momentary later, unknowingly tracing back to the vivid dream she had.

"Funny... All I see was his face... Extra close to mine... and I was holding his face...? Wait... what am I thinking?" She said aloud, eyes widening with recognition.

AAAAHHHHH!!!! GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!! DON'T FOLLOW ME ALL THE WAY IN MY DREAM!!! She was tossing and turning on her mattress, hoping it would cleanse his face out of her head.

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE VIRTUALLY REALISTIC?? She cursed herself for creating such a thought straight in the morning.

"Athy?" Lilian knocked on the door before coming inside. Athanasia quickly got up but a sharp pain followed. "Y—Yes?"

"Here, drink this." Lilian gave her a cup of warm tea. "I tried to wake you up last night but you wouldn't even budge." Untangling Athanaisa's messy locks, Lilian added. "Please go easy on the alcohol next time okay?"

"Lily. How did I get home?" She asked while sipping the tea.

"You don't remember at all?" Lilian asked and Athanasia shook her head. "Who do you think brought you home?" She countered the question, back to Athanasia.

"Lucas." No skepticism.

"What makes you think he was the one who brought you home?" Lilian giggled at her answer.

"Well—He was the one who walked me to the bar...So......." she trailed.

"But he wasn't the only one there right? You have your friends with you too."

"No. I remember walking out of the place with Lucas—Wait I think that was part of the dream..." She massaged her head lightly and whined in pain. "I don't know anymore Lily..."

"Don't push yourself, but why don't you confirm with him yourself?"

"Is he downstairs?"

"Unfortunately, No. He was supposed to be here right? It's almost noon."

"Eh? He said he wanted a rematch with me for the cookies."

"You two are so adorable," Lilian commented.

"Lily............." Athanasia plopped back to her bed and covered her face with a blanket.

"Alright alright, I will leave you be. Come downstairs when you are ready. You are already missed your breakfast."

"Yes, Lily."

Athanasia reached for her phone and two message notifications were left on her screen. She didn't know why she decided to go with that name for his contact number. But she did anyway.

From Wolfie: [Sorry. I have something coming up today.]

From Wolfie: [Drink lots of water okay?]

Replied: [Where are you going?]

She was anticipating a reply though the messages were sent in the early morning. Eventually, she gave up. Omitting her expectation, Athanasia decided to get ready for the day and went downstairs.

"Oh and Lily, I will be at Jeannette's house next weekend. It's a school project," she said, sitting down on the chair in the kitchen.

"How will you get there? It is quite far. Will Ezekiel be the one to pick you up?"
