ELAINE'S POV

"Racing?"

"I race when I'm depressed." he frowned.

"Depressed?"

"My dad was back."

I blink absorbing the informations. He was racing and his dad was back. Sa pagkakaalala ko ay may galit o tampo siya sa sariling ama. Kaya ba maiinit ang gulo nya? Kasi sobrang dami ng nagyayari? Tapos kasama ko pa ang ex ko buong araw.

"Anong ginawa nyo ni JL?"

"He introduced me to his mom and he help me recall some self defense. I've been working all day to ready myself Xander. I even tried hard to learn samurai techniques. Kaya hindi ko kinaya na ganun ang pinapakita mong reaksyon kanina."

"Reaksyon ko?"

"Na parang sinasabi mo na hindi ako handang lumaban at isa lang akong mahinang babae. Pinipilit kong hindi masaktan kanina pero natamo ko lang itong mga sugat na 'to dahil gustong hawakan ni Hash ang katawan ko. I cant take that. I rather have injuries."

"I know its reckless and stupid to face him alone."

"Youre stupid."

I agreed.

"If I'm smarter I'll go back to new york with JL and relax but nadito ako para sayo. Its worth it even youre scolding me to hell."

He laughed.

"Thank you for staying."

I smiled. Of course I'll stay! Humiga sya sa tabi ko, ingat na ingat syang masagi ako.

"This is the third time that I saw you under such pain."

"Mahal na mahal lang talaga ako ng kapahamakan lately."

I gigled.

"Stay away from danger please. This is killing me Elaine."

"Okay. I always try."

"Try harder."

"I will."

I managed to go closer to him, my head near his shoulder and chick. Kissing my forehead, I felt he did. My eyes are already closed still exhausted with the enormous fight against Hash. I wonder if hes okay. But i know he'll be fine, i worry a little even he almost kill me few hours ago.

I felt someone kisses my lips. I open my eyes and its Xander. Abusive bastard. Pssh. Blurred pa ang paligid kasi nagulat ako sa liwanag. 2pm? Wow. I sleep a lot. Nakaupo sya sa gilid ng kama ko. Naamoy ko ang dala nya. Grabe. Dun ko lang naramdaman na gutom na pala ako.

"You need to eat."

"Gutom na ako." i said honestly.
