A/n: This chapter is gonna getting really confusing and really messy really quick but it will all make sense later in the story so bare with me

She opened the door after hearing a knock moments ago. She was faced with a very good looking man as he stood there with his hands in his pockets.

"Well someone cleans up nicely" she replied in a hushed and sensual tone. A smirk tied up the edge of his mouth as his eyes pierced through hers. The look he gave her sent shivers down her spine.

She knew that look all too well.

The look that wasn't even looking at her. The look that only saw the play thing, good time, or
hookup. The look that saw her as a temporary, discardable, object.

A smile spread over her pink lips. "Would you like to come in?" She asked with her hand outstretched.

She didn't care. After all, it was easier to feel nothing then to let herself care for someone.

"It would be my pleasure"

To her surprise, the date actually went really well.

He seemed to always make her laugh one way or another, and also was very interested in her life and cooking.

She was able to talk to him like he was her best friend.

When they moved to the couch to watch a movie he would gently hold her in his arms. The warm she felt in the arms of a stranger was never as comforting as it was around him.

He was the type of person to get really into the movie, questioning every little thing and trying to predict what would happen next.

Throughout the two hours, she didn't focus on the movie. She would focus on him, his movements, mannerisms, and expressions, without even knowing it.

By the end of the night she felt like she knew every emotion that ran through his head.

It was... typical.

Rosa could read people like books. It was almost like her hidden superpower. After a few hours of knowing them she could predict every though, action, and feeling almost immaculately.

She walked the smiling man to her front door. He seemed tired yet in a blissful way. His schedule was hectic and it was late so it made sense to her, however something else, didn't.

"You didn't try anything" She voicedher thoughts as she leaned on the doorframe. An innocent, warm smile made its to his lips.

"Yeah that part surprised me too." He told her as he looked at her, actually looked at her. "But I think that's because I like you." He fearlessly said with his smile growing wider.

At his words her heart dropped.

Her eyes seemed to glaze over and her lips pressed into a thin line. Without a second thought her hand turned the door knob, slightly pushing it open.

Her tone was cold and void of any emotion. "I'm sorry but I can't give you what you want and you deserve to be with someone who can."

He looked at her with wide eyes. She could almost feel the pain and anger that he felt towards her. However, she crossed her arms, uttered some parting words and stalked off to her room.

"You should go."
