{Y/N POV}

Sehun had told me that he would have a meeting with his team during lunch today, but he said that it wouldn't take too long, so when lunchtime comes, I go down to our garden and sit in our usual spot and wait...

And wait...

And wait...

And wait...

Aaaand still no sign of him. It's getting really chilly out here... tightening my jacket around me, I check the time on my phone— it's been 15 minutes, lunch is already halfway over. I dismally get up and walk back into the lunchroom, wanting to get out of the cold air. I'm about to make my way to the library, but then I spot the table where Jongin, Lucas, Baekhyun, and Kyungsoo sit out of the corner of my eye.

I haven't hung out with the boys in a while, I should sit with them, I think, walking over to the table. I gotta admit, I miss them— especially Jongin. Is that bad? Probably. That's why I've been a bit stand-offish towards him... I just don't want to develop feelings for him again when I'm in a relationship.

"Hey boys!" I greet as I sit down, earning their attention.

"Well hello there stranger~" Lucas says. "We haven't seen you in a while!"

"Haha, I guess I've been hanging out with my boyfriend so much that I haven't seen my boy—friends as much!" I joke. When I say this they visibly tense up, looking back and forth at each other. "Hey, are you guys okay? What's wrong?"

"It's— it's nothing Y/N," Lucas says.

"No, there actually is somethi—"

"—Kyungsoo, no," Jongin rasps.

"Just stay quiet and eat your soup, it'll help your throat feel better. But we need to discuss this," Kyungsoo says in a polite, yet stern voice. Jongin complies, directing his attention back to the small bowl on the table and Kyungsoo turns back to me.

"Discuss what?" I ask.

"Y/N," Baekhyun begins, "it's about Sehun."

I raise an eyebrow and cross my arms. "And what about him?"

"Hey, hey, no need to get cross now. Just please, listen to us." Kyungsoo says.

I relax a bit, but I'm still on guard. "Alright then."

"Anyways," Baekhyun resumes, "Y/N, we don't think you should be dating Sehun."

"And I don't think," I say, standing up, "that I have to listen to this stupidity."

"Y/N please just listen to us! Sehun is a bad guy and he's only using you! You need to break up with him!" Lucas says.

I look over to see if Jongin is going to say something, anything to back me up, but all he's doing is nervously looking back and forth between me and the other guys.

"Y/N please! Just talk to us!" Kyungsoo pleads.

"I'm trying to talk to you, and quite frankly, I'm sick of it!" I fire back. I thought these boys were my friends? Why are they talking about Sehun so badly?

And then, it finally hits me... heh, how low of them.

"Oh, I get it... you all are jealous of him," I say, smirking.

"WHAT?!" Lucas shrieks, rising to his feet. "Y/N, what does Jong— I mean, what do we possibly have to be jealous of Sehun for?!"

"The fact that the most beautiful girl to ever exist loves me~" I look and see Sehun standing next to me. He slings his arm around my shoulders and winks at me and says, "I got it from here, my love." Then, turning to the boys, "gentlemen, I appreciate your concern for my girlfriend, but there is no need. We will be on our way now, so I bid adieu to Y/N's little musketeers."

And with that, I walk off along with him, happy to finally get out of that situation.

"Hey Y/N, what's wrong? You're looking pretty down today," Rosie says when walk to where her and my other two friends are on the mat.

"Umm, nothing," I say.

"We can tell it's something Y/N. Come on, you can tell us," Lisa assures.

"I kinda... got into a fight with my guy friends."

"You did??" Wendy gasps. "Why? Over what?"

"So, you know how me and Sehun are dating right? Well—"

"WAIT WHAT?!" The three of them exclaim.

Huh? Oh wait... have I even told them about me and Sehun...? Oh my God, I haven't!

"Hehehe... sorry, I forgot to tell you guys. But yeah, me and Sehun started dating and the boys were trying to tell me to break up with him and things got a little heated and... yeah," I ramble.

The three of them, just stand there, blankly staring at me.

"And then I remember what you two said about him and now I'm scared that all of those things are true and that I'm the one who's being immature because I'd never want to be rude to anyone and—"

They're still just standing there with those blank expressions...

"Oh come on guys! Please just tell me if those things are true and what I should do!"

Rosie speaks up first, clearing her throat. "Ahem. Sorry Y/N, you're just funny when you ramble super fast like that, hehe. But anyway, about what we and the boys said about Sehun... we actually don't know if him being a bad guy is true or not."

"Wait, what do you mean?" I ask.

"It's all hearsay— that Sehun is the school's "bad boy", and that girls should steer clear of him. I don't know about the boys, but I know that we don't actually know that... basically, when we approached you that first time, we were just repeating what we had always been hearing," she explains.

"Well, I've known him for a while now, and Sehun seems like a pretty nice boy. Cunning, but definitely not a threat. Maybe if I can prove this to the boys, they'll realize that they've had the wrong view of him all along?" I propose.

"Sounds like a good plan," Lisa says. "Yes, after what happened today, you should try to have a calm conversation with them to sort everything out."

"Definitely. And I'd better do it soon. Maybe during lunch tomorrow, we all can sit and just—"

"Listen up ladies!" Coach Jisoo announces. All of us turn to face her. "As you know, our big annual football game against Wonderland High, The War, is coming up soon. That means that we will be perfecting our routine for the game, and getting things set up for the dance and the spirit days. We will meet during lunch periods for extra time. It'll be stressful, but as long as we all work hard and keep our heads up, we got this!"

Damn, The War. It is coming up soon. Uh oh, that means Sehunnie is gonna be busy too, practicing for the big game. That's probably what the meeting with his team at lunch today was about.

"Looks like tomorrow won't work," I murmur to myself.

Wendy pats my back. "It's okay Y/N, when The War is over, then you can sort everything out."

"Yeah... when The War's over."
