"GOOD AFTERNOON DIAMONDS!!" a voice booms happily over the intercom. "AS YOU KNOW, NEXT WEEK IS THE WAR, SO HERE ARE EACH OF THE SPIRIT DAYS FOR THE WEEK..."

I lean in eagerly to hear what the themes of the spirit days are, pen and planner ready. Y/N was right, school events like this are pretty fun!

"MONSTER MONDAY: DRESS UP LIKE A WOLF
TROPICAL TUESDAY: BEACH CLOTHES
POWER WEDNESDAY: DRESS UP LIKE A SUPERHERO
BIKER THURSDAY: DRESS UP LIKE A BIKER
SPIRIT DAY FRIDAY, THE DAY OF THE GAME: SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT
AND SATURDAY IS THE DANCE, MASQUERADE THEMED!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND DIAMONDS!! KEEP SHININ'!"

"...and the Saturday night dance is masquerade themed... got it!" I whisper to myself as I write down the days in my notebook. I turn to face
Y/N, who's packing up her stuff for the day.

"Are you excited for the spirit days?" I ask.

She frowns slightly. "Mmm, what's the point?"

"Huh? What do you mean? I thought you loved this stuff!"

She gestures to her crutches and her cast. "I'm not really in the mood for it... I won't get to cheer, and I'll be miserable at the dance, dragging these crutches around everywhere... what's the point?"

I pat her back. "Aw, come on now Y/N—"

"And plus, aren't you still sick? You definitely shouldn't be going to any dances or games either."

"I told you remember? I'm feeling a lot better!" which is somewhat true. I don't know, ever since me and Y/N started hanging around each other again, some days I'll feel good, but then other days I'll feel awful... is it possible that she has feelings for the two of us...? No no, that's silly, she only loves Sehun, it's probably all in my head.

"You just have fun without me," she says, laying down on her desk. Damn, she's really bummed about this huh?

"Y/N, I can't believe you're gonna let a little cast on your ankle stop you from having fun." She looks up at me, eyes wide. "Those words sound a bit familiar don't they~? Just think about it like this: you can still have fun, you just have to be bit careful, that's all! Plus... it wouldn't be as fun without you~"

"Hehe, okay, okay Jonginnie. I'll participate next week!" she says, a big grin on her face.

I ruffle her fluffy curls. "That's my girl! I knew you'd come around!"

{Y/N POV}

For Werewolf day today, I decided to wear one of eomma's big, fancy fur coats and an old animal ears headband from when I was little. Hehe, not the best wolf costume, but I think it still looks pretty nice!

It's early in the morning, so classes haven't started yet. I walk to Sehun's locker to not only wish him good luck on Friday, but to also see his spirit day costume! I spot his tall figure standing in front of it, face in his phone... but he's not dressed up for today?

"Hey Sehunnie!" I greet.

"Hello." That cold tone again.

"Why aren't you dressed up for Wolf day?"

"Pfft, because it's childish."

Woah, never would've thought that he could be a fun sponge. He's probably trying to keep up the dumb 'bad boy' image. "Oh, well okay then... anyways, good luck on Friday!"
