I continued to run and soon I was at the location, Aerith's church. I smiled slightly already picturing her cute smile, I ran faster towards the building and soon I came to the entrance slammed open the doors and then slammed them shut just as hard behind me locking them with a piece of wood. I sighed in relief and heard soft footsteps run down

"Hello?" Aerith said softly

"Hey... how's it going?" I smiled as she came into view

"Oh Y/N... it's you.... you scared me" She giggled softly and ran to me giving me a hug "I'm doing good.... you?"

"Uh.... I'm doing alright yeah.." I smiled and hugged Aerith back

She nodded and unwrapped her arms from me jumping slightly as Cloud suddenly knocked on the door

"Don't open it" I sighed and rubbed my face slightly

She raised an eyebrow "Why not? What trouble have you gotten yourself into now?" She put a hand on her hip

"I Uh..... you know... may have pissed off that Merc guy everyone is talking about" I chuckled slightly and scratched the back of my head

"Oh.... you mean Cloud?"

I sighed "Yeah.... him.... you know him?"

"Yeah... he's a close friend" Aerith giggled and she smiled "Look.... go rest and I'll try and talk to him"

I sighed again and nodded  "Alright then.... thanks Aerith"

Aerith nodded and she gave me a gentle pat on the back and went outside to talk to Cloud, I sighed again and made my way over to the flowers she grew in the church they're so beautiful and the smell they all give off is like heaven. I smiled slightly and sat down Infront of the flowers taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, Aerith taught me how to mediate and just rest my mind since she knows how stressed out I can get.

———Cloud's POV———

I growled getting more frustrated now, I went to knock on the door but before I could it opened and Aerith stood before me

"Hello Cloud" She smiled softly and giggled

"Hey" I sighed crossing my arms

She sighed slightly and shook her head smiling shutting the door behind her "Cloud...... please don't hurt Y/N.... I know her habits of steeling aren't good but... she has a really troubled past"

I glared at Aerith slightly "She tricked me into stealing Gil and don't we all" I sighed

"Cloud just listen.....please" She said softly gently grabbing my hand

"Huh?" I looked down at our hands and blushed looking away "f....fine"

Aerith nodded and she sighed softly "I've known Y/N since she was 15, she lost her parents very suddenly one day when Shinra's men turned up at her house and took them away...... to this day she doesn't know what happened to them after that or if they're even...... alive. When I found her she was very ill on the streets, I tried to take her to the orphanage but she refused to go there..... so instead she stayed in the church for a while and eventually found an abandoned house she now calls home"

I looked down at Aerith and then at the church doors sighing softly as I held Aerith closer "Has she spoken to you about who her parents were at all?"

Aerith nodded "Her father was a Turk who worked very closely with Shinra...... and her mother worked within the Shinra offices..... I did try and get more out of her but that's all she would tell me"

I nodded "I still need to get the Gil back"

Aerith sighed and she nodded "just please...... be patient with her"

I nodded again looking at the doors walking towards them and into the church, I sighed as I noticed Y/N she was talking to the flowers I took a deep breath and cleared my
throat slightly "Y/N"

------Y/N's POV------

I jumped as I suddenly heard an annoyed voice say my name, I turned my head and quickly jumped to my feet grabbing my daggers and holding them out in front of me "get lost asshole!" I hissed

Cloud rolled his eyes at me and crossed his arms "give back the Gil you stole"

"Hmm don't you mean the Gil you stole?" I chuckled earning a growl from Cloud

He moved closer to me and I snarled my daggers still out in front of me, Aerith soon came and stood at his side crossing her arms

"Y/N.... give him the Gil back" She said softly but sighed

"Sorry but no can do, Aerith.... I need it for new gear" I chuckled again a smug smirk plastered on my face

"I can give you some Gil" Aerith tried to bargain but I shook my head

"No... I don't want your money..., I'd feel bad" I sighed slightly putting my daggers in their holders and crossing my arms glaring at Cloud "Get lost" I growled

Cloud growled back and he stepped forward but Aerith stood in front of him and placed a hand on his chest "Don't.... please"

Cloud looked at Aerith and then at me and back at Aerith "But she won't give the Gil back"

Aerith sighed and looked at me "Y/N... please..... I'm sure Cloud has some gear you can have"

I scoff "Hand me down weapons? I don't think so, I should probably go" I sigh

"No! Wait..... please" Aerith grabs my hands and she sighs "please...... just give the Gil back..... please Y/N.... this isn't who you are.... not really"

I sigh and drop my head
"Aerith.... I'm sorry but...... it's who I am now, I'm not a child anymore..... I can look after myself"

"You're 20 Y/N..... that's still young" Aerith said softly

"But I'm not a kid" I snarled slightly, taking my hands back and crossing my arms

Aerith sighed softly and she nodded, I looked at Cloud who was obviously pissed

"Look here y-" Cloud started but he was interrupted by the front doors bursting open and and a familiar red head walking into the church.
