Reno X Reader- Training grounds

❶❸ On the run

My eyes widened and I looked up at Rufus, he smirked at me gripping my jaw slightly. I growled and shoved him roughly running out the room to which he quickly followed pointing over at me "Seize her!"

The guards looked up at Rufus and nodded starting to chase after me guns in hand, I continued to run faster limping slightly as I did my leg still not fully healed from yesterday. I looked around frantically and noticed the door to Reno's room, I ran in and locked the door breathing slightly heavier my heart pounding in my chest

"Open the door!" I heard a man yell and then the sound of hi shots rung against the door

I gasped and looked around the room trying to find an escape, I looked up and noticed a vent that I could climb through I got onto Reno's bed and jumped up yelping slightly as I did because of my wounded leg. I grabbed onto the vent ripping the cover off and climbing in, I breathed heavier as I started to panic crawling through the vents quickly not knowing where the hell i'm gonna end up

I could hear yelling beneath me which just made me panic even more, I looked forward and saw a light coming from a room beneath me I crawled over to the vent cover and looked down. It was Tseng's office and Reno was being held back by Tseng and Rude as he yelled and swore at Rufus

"You son of a bitch! Leave her alone she ain't done nothing!!" Reno yelled and he growled

"Oh but you see...... she has" Rufus smirked and he placed a hand on his hip "She'll make a good chew toy for Darkstar"

"Sir.... let us go and find her" Tseng said in his usual deep calm voice

Rufus looked at Tseng and he shook his head crossing his arms

I sighed softly and continued to crawl through the vents, the air was starting to get stuffy as my heart was still pounding and my leg was getting more painful by the second

"I miss you Aerith" I said softly through shaky breaths as I teared up continuing to crawl through the vents my leg still not making things any better

A single tear ran down my cheek as I continued forward I could still hear Reno shouting from the vent opening behind me, I sighed softly clenching my hands into fists

"Please Reno...... don't fight for me...... I don't want you getting hurt" I said softly to myself clenching my fists even more my vision blurring as I teared up more

"Don't cry Y/N~"

I heard the same voice I've been hearing these last two days coo which made me flinch slightly quickly wiping my tears as I growled

"You're getting closer now~"

I tried to ignore the voice getting a headache as he whispered things I couldn't understand making my vision go static like before causing me to grip my hair as I groaned. I continued to crawl through the vents placing my hands down one after the other, I continued to do this and as I did I placed my hand down on a vent cover falling right through it as it crashed to the floor below with me following.

I groaned my whole body in pain as I gasped for air sitting up, I looked around me. I'm in a hallway on a higher floor, i sigh and place my hand on a wall for support pushing myself up to my feet

"Y/N?!" I heard a voice say in surprise

I looked up at saw Reno standing just down the hall, I gasped slightly and turned away from him shaking my head but I heard his footsteps get closed to me suddenly stopping. I sighed and looked up at him tears starting to run down my cheeks, Reno gently cupped my face with his hands and he caressed my cheeks wiping my tears with his thumbs

"Don't cry my love" he said softly

My eyes widened "y...your love?"

Reno nodded and he leant in to kiss me which I followed my cheeks heating up as his lips were close to mine however, just before our lips touched Reno faded into nothing the man with white long hair who's voice has been in my head taking his place a wide smirk on his pale lips as he continued to caress my cheeks with his blistering cold hands I whimpered as I still cried shoving him away and legging it down the hall , I continued to run but was shoved back by something invisible groaning as my wounded leg twisted slightly as I fell

"Oh Y/N your fantasies..... will not be hidden forever" The man said in his deep menacing voice

I felt a firm hand place itself on my shoulder gripping it slightly, I gasped as a dozen or so of black robes with mist surrounding them appeared in front of me

"W.....what are those?" I asked the man

"They..... will keep you on your path" he said deeply his hot breath hitting my ear making me freeze up

I growled "W..... who are you god damn it!?"

"I-" he started stepping infront of me kneeling down getting eye level with me still on the floor "...am Sepiroth.."

"S... Sephiroth?" I said softly almost in a whisper

He nodded and disappeared heavy footsteps running up behind me

"It's her!"

"The intruder! Seize her!"

Before I could make a run for it I was grabbed a gun forced to my head, I sighed softly as I struggled to get from the guards grasp hearing a deep chuckle in my ear everything going static as I started to be dragged away
