Arisu's POV

I quickly made it home and went inside.
Nobody was home...? "Ichigo..." I called out.
"Hmm...could they be away or maybe the all went out?" I thought and made my way upstairs.
I opened the door and the room was neat.
"Clean...nice" I huffed.
I quickly spotted a thick letter sitting on my bed. I picked it up.
"To Kurosaki Arisu; from the global ballet academy" I read and my hand holding bags drop them into the floor.
"No way..." I exhaled and quickly sat on my bed opening my letter.

"Miss Kurosaki,
This is Vladmes Namasaki Shuster. I am the lead director of the Global Ballet Dance Academy and we have received a recommendation form your studio where you attend currently in Karakura, Japan. We reviewed the recommendation and have watched over your past recitals and decided that we would have the greatest honor of inviting you to join us. You are to call xxx-xxx-xxxx if you wish to accept our offer. We invite 10 girls from all over the globe yearly to study and learn with us for a year, before sending them back out on their own with knowledge and skill. You have been our number one candidate so far, we hope you will accept our offer soon!" Uki As

I kept looking over the letter...my studio...when did they do this!? Was is Miss Kim, my teacher?
"What do I do..." I dropped the letter to the side and began thinking.
I ran a hand through my hair forgetting I had it pinned up with my pin. I quickly removed the pin, the tightness of my long hair being pinned up eased as I let it loose.
"Why don't you go?"
"GHU-" I gasped for air clutching my shirt.
"You can't...do that" I breathed heavily looking at the man standing at my doorway.
*silence*
"It's a year...and Ukitake I just..found my closure I can't just pack and leave...plus this is a global academy do you even know how much it'll be, it's too much" I got from my bed walking over to my shared desk with Ichigo putting the letter under some books.
" it's not like Captain Ukitake will be going anywhere"
I sighed
"I know that Byakuya...but he's not well and you know that" I turned back to him
"Even if he did fall ill you would be immediately notified and could easily come through a senkaimon" He stated...which he did have a point
"You're not wrong, but even tho this invitation is way out of my budget okay, plus I don't need some fancy people teaching me what I am already learning here" I argued back
"I'll cover the cost" he stated so bluntly is slightly irritated me
"No? Why-why would you offer that?"
"Just a few minutes ago you were staring at the letter with such gleam in your eyes, and you're refusing my offer?" He raised a brow
"T-that still...it's not a mandatory thing, plus no! Like that's your money why are you offering to pay for it? Even though I think the shoes you gifted me were enough!" I raised my hands...this man seriously surprises me everyday.
"Think of it as a return of preforming at the Sakura Festival and helping Rukia with her dance" he spoke once more

"Byakuya...why do you want me to go so bad?" I sighed
"Do you want me to leave...or something?" I turn to face him and he kept a blank stare.
"I never stated such, I'm saying is I'd be willing to help you attend the invitation you received...I am from a noble clan there is money; why let it sit there when It's deemed helpful for someone else" He seemed bored of the argument by this point.

"I-I don't...ughh..give me time to think about it please It's I just want to be with Ukitake for now and in Soul Society.." I lightly smiled at him and he closed his eyes and the lightest smile fell in his lips but quickly left as he spoke.
"Renji left already we should take our leave as well"

We quickly made our way back to Soul Society, and I delivered all my gift to the ones I mentioned I would get them something, they were all happy. I left Toshiro for last. I haven't been able to see him recently.
I walked up his barracks. Some people bowed and some just stared. I made it to his office, and knocked.
"Who is it?"
"Your candied bean deliveryyy" I sang and you could hear a chair move.
The door quickly slid open.
I looked in front of me to the captain and his eyes quickly fell into my hand holding a bag full of candies beans.
"I thought I'd get you some" I smiled and he had a small smile before walking to his desk letting me in. I slid the door closed and walked behind him.
"I haven't seen you in a while and I wanted to stop by, but you don't seem to busy so I don't feel as guilty for stopping by suddenly" I giggled
"Well you should always announce your visit what if you came all the way and I wasn't here" he sat down
"Hmmm well I would just wait in here"
"You can't just walk into my office!" He irked
"By why...don't you trust me shiro" I laughed pushing his buttons.
He rubbed his temples. I scooted the bag of candies beans and stood up.
"I just came for a little I actually need to go back and talk to Ukitake about some...stuff" I hesitated a bit.
He gave me a curious stare.
"Why do you seem un-sure about something" He ask as he began organizing papers and getting his pen.
"Is it that noticeable" I sighed and sat back down in the chair.
"I have an opportunity to dance with well known dancers back home, but I don't want to leave Ukitake when I just finally got what I've wanted you know" I stared at the sky through the window behind him.
"You know you're not from here right..." he said and I quickly looked at his remark.
"Don't misunderstand, what I'm saying is everyone here is not going anywhere we're shinigami's, but maybe you forgot cause sometimes we don't act like it but we're here for a long run, you still have a human life do what you wish with it" He continued scribbling on the papers.
"I- you're completely right I didn't come to realize that, I was just so submerged in being here with everyone" I breathed in deeply and exhaled in relief. I guess I didn't want to be selfish, but it's good to be selfish every now and then.
"Thank you shiro...you really are probably the most mature out of the captains" I stood up and grabbed my bag. He stopped writing and looked up and huffed.
"I always am" he childishly scribbles in his papers again.
"But your inner child heart is still there don't you think" I teased and I saw his irk.
"Arisu..." he hissed and glared at me.
"Kiddingggg, I'll be going now goodnight Captain Hitsugaya" I waved at him from the door and his eyes softened and a sly smile landed in his face and he waved back. I smiled seeing his reaction.
"You look more handsome when you smile instead of glaring constantly" I spoke as I closed the door behind me hearing his pen cup fall onto the floor from outside the room. I giggled and made my way back to Ukitake.
