Not being able to stand the awkward situation in Wooyoung's office, the doctor took off after leaving the bag of pastries behind, leaving with mixed feelings. During these times, she would usually calm her nerves down with a cup of tea, while talking to Uncle Zu, the old man having a really vast wisdom, wonder where he got those from.

She's mad at herself, and also disappointed. When the exterior of the building appears in her peripheral vision, Yeojung parks her vehicle and locks it. Her steps were heavy as she climbed the stairs and opens the door wide.

As usual, Uncle Zu is standing behind the counter, wiping some cups and sorting out the new tea leafs he just got. "Little flower! What brings you here in the middle of the day?" he puts the clay cup down, greeting the girl.

Without saying anything, Yeojung sat down on her usual spot, plopping down and resting her head on the wooden table. "Hey, what's wrong?" sensing that something is up, Uncle Zu gestured for his worker to take over the counter and sits in front of the girl he thinks as his own daughter.

Yeojung raises her head slowly, "I—" she lets a big sigh out, "I'm stressed, and mad." the girl rests her forehead against her arms, "My head's spinning and I just don't feel well." tears were brimming, threatening to fall.

Uncle Zu looks at her with pity and concern, "Lola, get me peppermint." he tells his part timer who nodded at his request. "Little flower, who is it?" Yeojung snaps her head up, "Huh?" she asks, lately Yeojung's head is just not cooperating with her ears, people's words sometimes just seem like a bunch of mumblings to her.

Uncle Zu pours the hot liquid into the cup, "It surely is not because of work," he sets the clay cup in front of the girl before pouring himself another, "I've never seen you happier than when you talk about your successful surgeries, so obviously, it's a who." he brings the cup up and took a whiff out of it.

Yeojung lifts her own cup and sighs, "It's a boy," she sips the tea, calming her nerves down, "and also a girl?" Uncle Zu nods, "I assume it was the boy that came last time?" which Yeojung replies with a nod.

"I have this, high school, well, not exactly friend," she shrugs, "She's more like someone I know from high school. The person is working as a model, way prettier, way more successful than I am." Yeojung plays with the cup, rotating it in her hands.

"It turns out that the girl knows the boy from yesterday, and seeing them together just, fits, you know?" Yeojung gave a small smile, "When I see them together, they look great, like there are no room for me. Flimsy, ugly, and, uncared for." pursing her lips, Yeojung rests the cup down.

Uncle Zu stayed quiet, "And to make it worse, the girl used to hate me to my guts, well I don't know if she still does hate me or not." Yeojung shrugs, "She used to bully? Me? Not exactly bullying but she was very mean to me, not that I mind, though."

Uncle Zu chuckles and strokes Yeojung's head, "Little flower," he trails off, "Don't let others make you think so little of yourself. They don't define your quality." Yeojung kept quiet, taking in Uncle Zu's words one by one.

"Making another person a standard for your beauty is toxic, you should be your own standard of beauty." He ends his advice and sips on his tea, creating a silence between the two of them. "Thank you, uncle."

"And who cares if she hates you? All that matters is that the boy loves you," Uncle Zu chuckles then sipped on his tea, "You win over the girl when you have his love, it doesn't matter since in the end, he had chosen you."

Yeah, Wooyoung loves her,

right?

Kim Doyoung had just finished his surgery, he went out of the OR, stretching his neck to the sides and discarded his gown and gloves, deciding to get to his office to catch up on a few variety shows he had missed.

He went past the lobby to grab his favorite lemon cake in the café, when he came across a man clothed heavily, seems to be persuading the receptionist there. Doyoung moves closer to listen into the conversation, pretending to check the files there.

The man clicks his tongue, "I said, I know her, can't you just give me her address?" the unknown being crosses his arms. The woman sitting behind the desk shakes her head, "I'm sorry sir, our doctors' information is not something we can disclose," she sighed, fed up with the situation, "Why don't you call Dr. Han Yeojung yourself and ask where she lives."

"But! I—" "I'm sorry sir, Dr. Han Yeojung is my subordinate, if you have anything to say— or complain about, you can say it to me." hearing his subordinate's name being mentioned, Doyoung tries to intervene before anything could happen.

Getting the unidentified person's attention, Professor Kim could finally see his eyes, somewhat familiar. The man scrutinizes, scrunching his eyebrows to analyze the doctor in front of him. "Hello? Sir? If you are an acquaintance of Dr. Han I'll be glad to call her up for you." Doyoung waves a hand to snap him out of his trance.

When the man in the trench coat could finally put a finger on who this person is, his expression changed. "Y-You know what?! Never mind! I'm calling her myself." he stomps away to the dark night, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Weirded out by the man, Doyoung exchanges glances between the receptionist and the slowly disappearing man. "Did he leave any name?" he turns his back from the automatic rotating doors, the receptionist nods. "Jae, nothing more. He said that Dr. Han is an old high school friend." Doyoung nods and left the area, not really familiar with the name.

"I thought Yeojung didn't have any friends?" the professor mumbles to himself, "I guess he lied." he decides to put the event behind, rushing to the cafe and happily swinging the bag containing his delicious cake slightly as he returns back, we don't want any hell to break loose if Doyoung drops it.

He was about to enter his office, when he noticed the lights turned on from the office next to his. "Han Yeojung?" Kim Doyoung closes the door and made his way next door. He took a peek inside but didn't find Yeojung, or anyone in particular. "Clumsy girl, the electric bills will definitely shoot up because of her." he nags and presses down onto the handle, expecting it to be locked.

"Huh? It's unlocked?" Doyoung shakes his head, "Is she that excited to have the day off that she forgot to lock her own door?" making his way towards the light switch and flipping it down, instantly dimming the area.

After closing the door to Han Yeojung's office, Doyoung opens his own and enters it, whistling a tune as he ecstatically took the cake out. But unknown to him, not long after he went in, the lights turned on again.
