sandeul knew it.

sandeul knew that something was up between the two of his friends, but he couldn't squeeze it out of them. as soon as bangtan had started going overseas, byulyi was more updated than he'll ever be when it comes to seokjin.

now, unexpectedly- sandeul and byulyi will be in one show.

as soon as the news broke out, he can totally see the devastation in seokjin's eyes. he won't be able to join in the show even if he's one of the requested contestants due to the restriction of their company, bighit. he can still remember how sulky seokjin was at that day, trying too hard to conceal the disappointment by a laugh.

then heeyeon and ken were obliviously teasing sandeul and byulyi, and he can still see the look of resentment growing worse on seokjin's face.

up until then, he started observing how the two acts with each other.

there would be some times when he'll caught the two being cozy when alone in a space. he saw that in seokjin's house one time. everyone was drunken, and wasted after drinking a round or two.

time quickly runs by, the shooting for the KBS singing show known as In Sync or The Kiss has started.

"you're silent, huh." sandeul trails-off, glancing towards byulyi who was all warmed up with a large coat, making him chuckle inwardly after realizing that seokjin also has the same coat with hers. if he's going to recall, seokjin had bought it overseas.

he snorted, shaking his head.

he doesn't even buy them bracelets or accessories before byulyi came into the picture!

he rolled his eyes out of bitterness while looking at the female. "what?" she replied in a monotonous tone, making him mutter. "don't you wish that the whole squad is here?" he grins, waiting for her reaction as she sinks inside her large coat. "maybe..."

sandeul tilts his head, seeing how her phone continuously vibrates while on the way.

he snickered, catching a glimpse of a familiar caller ID. looking at sandeul with doubt, byulyi answered her phone with her shaky voice. "hello?"

"who's that?" he asks, even if he's already aware.

"jinnie." byulyi whispers, opening the speaker as sandeul yelled. "bro!" he heard a loud chuckle from the line, hearing seokjin yell from the phone. "hey, are you driving?"

"uh-huh, we're on our precious way down the venue." sandeul snorted, hearing byulyi retort. "he's actually a bad driver-"

"yah, i'm not a bad driver!" sandeul fought back, watching byulyi roll her eyes. "deulie, be careful in driving- you punk!" seokjin complained on the other line, as sandeul sarcastically nodded. "what do i expect from you two, always ganging up on me?"

what do i expect, i'll be looking out for his girlfriend once again- damn it!

and the rest were history.
