Keith's p.o.v:

   Keith knew his heat was nearing its end now and he couldn't wait for it to be over, he predicts it'll be over later today or tomorrow morning at the latest. Not that he found it unenjoyable in here with Lance but he couldn't say he wasn't tired because of said alpha's damned stamina. He still found it quite embarrassing that they had done such a thing, and he knew he'd have to hide all the hickeys Lance left on him or he might die of embarrassment.

   Keith was sitting upright as they were relaxing when Keith noticed something weird about Lance's hair, and he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed or questioned it before now that his hair was brown but the rest of his body hair was white. "Hey hun.. why is your hair brown?" Keith asked awkwardly, trying to stifle his laughter. "Why are you suddenly asking a question like that? And why are you laughing, what's so funny?" Lance replied back, lifting his head up and off of Keith's lap to look at him. "Well, your roots are white now." Keith said bluntly, not wanting to admit it took him this long to notice his hair didn't match the rest of him. "Oh, my hair must've grown out a bit then. Yeah- no my hair is naturally white but I like dyeing it brown. Makes me feel like I'm an undercover spy or something like that. Welp, I guess it's time to dye it again then." Lance stated, laying his head back down on Keith's lap.

   Keith gently ran a hand through Lance's hair, kind of wishing he'd just let it go back to his natural color because he was curious what he'd look like with white hair now. "Do you.. have to dye it?" Keith asked quietly, not really thinking about what he was saying. Lance suddenly sat up and looked at Keith with a smug look. "Awhhh, do you wanna see what your alpha looks like with white hair kitten?~" Lance teased, but Keith just crossed his arms and looked away from him. "I shouldn't have said anything." Keith stated, pretending to be more interested in what was outside the window then his partner. "I'm sorry kitten, I'm really sorry okay? I know you don't like being teased.~ But if you really want to see that, I can let it grow out and you'll be able to see it all white! It won't take that long either since Altean hair grows fairly quickly!~" Lance explained. Keith turned his attention back to his partner and smiled. "You'd do that? But I thought you like feeling like 'an undercover spy'?" Keith replied as Lance moved to sit beside him, and once Lance was settled into his spot Keith rested his head on Lance's shoulder. "Well my cute little omega wants to see me with white hair so who am I to say no? Plus, it's been a while since I let it stay white." Lance replied, resting his own head on top of Keith's.

  "Hey hun, how's my scent? Is it still strong?" Keith questioned, wanting to be able to leave their room sooner rather than later. "Not really but I'd say wait a little bit longer, okay? Just to be safe." Lance replied quietly before placing a kiss on top of Keith's head. He sighed, he was hoping he'd agree to him being able to go out already. "I should probably check out our ship to see if Dad or Allura called, I was supposed to call them when we got here but I had forgotten to do so in all the excitement." Lance said as he got up from the bed, leaving Keith kind of jealous because he wanted out of this damned room too! "I'll try to be quick about it alright? I'll be right back." Lance reassured right before he headed towards the door and left. Keith crossed his arms like a stubborn child who was told 'no'.

Keith had no choice but to wait for his partner to return but he was taking quite a while to return, which was quite unlike Lance. Lance was pretty good about coming back as quickly as he can, what could be keeping him?

During this seemingly never ending wait for his alpha to return he couldn't help but overthink everything. Why didn't Lance bite my neck yet? Weren't we supposed to become a pair? Why wouldn't he bite me if he said he wanted to become my pair? Were we moving too fast relationship wise? Is that why he hadn't bitten me? Is he uncomfortable with the idea of pairing with someone like me? Suddenly Keith was filled with doubts about his and Lance's relationship, maybe they can talk about it when he returns to their room...
