"Shorty." Mattia walked through the door with a bruise on his cheek but other than that he looked okay.
"You're okay!" Kairi yelled as he ran and hugged Mattia.
Mattia picked him up and held him tight. "Of course I'm okay baby, I had to get back to you."
"I had a dream last night, you died. I thought it was gonna come true." Kairi had tears in his eyes as Mattia pulled him into a kiss.
"Never shorty, I'll never leave you. I promise."
"Mattia, you're the love of my life. Forever." Mattia smiled as he held the boy like he was going to lose him.
