"What do you wanna talk about?" Alvaro sat across from the boy on his bed and watched him play with his fingers.
"Okay, um promise not to freak out or anything. I um I like you." Alvaro was speechless.
"You what?" He watched the boy get up and run out of his house with tears on his cheeks.
"I didn't even say anything yet!" Alvaro yelled as he chased the boy who stopped and turned around.
"It's fine, j-just tell me how disgusting I am, for liking my best friend, for being a fag." Alejandro was crying hard and it broke Alvaro's heart.
"Hey, you aren't disgusting. I love you Ale, you are not disgusting." He hugged the boy tightly, crying a bit himself.
"Do you feel the same way?" Alejandro sniffled, and pulled away a bit.
"I'm sorry." Alvaro shook his head. "I'm sorry, I don't. But it's okay that you like me. We can still be friends."
"Yeah, it was stupid anyway." Alejandro laughed dryly. "Imma go home, I'm tired."
But he wasn't tired, he was heart broken.
