"WHAT DO YOU MEAN KIARA?!" Mattia yelled at his short wasian girlfriend.
"I- I think I'm transgender." Kiara looked up at him with tears in their eyes.
"Baby, you were gonna break up with me because of that?" Mattia looked down at them with his own tears falling.
"You're not gay, you won't still like me." Kiara cried.
"I love you no matter what. Do you want me to use he/him or they/them?" Mattia smiled down at them.
"I wanna use he/him." Kiara looked nervous but Mattia just smiled and nodded.
"Okay, do you know if you wanna change your name yet?" Kiara nodded and Mattia just kept smiling.
"I wanna change it to Kairi." Kairi looked down at his feet out of nervousness.
"Okay, Kairi, my beautiful boyfriend. We still have a date tonight so go home and get ready, I'll pick you up at 7."
Kairi started crying harder and hugged Mattia tight. "Thank you so much, I love you."
