"Baby, it's okay don't be upset." Mattia tried to get the small boy to stop crying but nothing was working.
"But you always cook for me, I wanted to cook something for you." Kairi sobbed as the taller boy held him.
"Baby, it's just food. Besides I love cooking for you, is it okay if I make us dinner?" Kairi nodded but didn't let go of the boy.
"You gonna cling to me while I cook?" Kairi nodded and Mattia just chuckled and attempted to make dinner with a Kairi koala attached to him.
When he finished he made one plate and sat at the table with Kairi in his lap, he fed the boy who hummed after each bite.
"Sorry I burned dinner the first time." Kairi apologized when he was done chewing.
"Kai, I don't care about dinner, I'm just happy to have you with me." He kissed the boy lightly and fed him another bite.
Kairi smiled up at him and laughed slightly before continuing to eat.
