"Class we have a new student." Mr. Aizawa said as I stood in front of the class. "Do you want to tell the class about yourself?" He asked me, and I nodded.
"Hi, my name is y/n." I started. "And my quirk is based off of my emotions. I can control the different elements, however when I do so I have to deal with an emotion that is connected with it. Air is joy. Water is fear. Fire is anger."
"What about earth?" Someone asked.
"Earth is an emotion I don't know how to describe." I said. "It's almost like I feel a bunch of different emotions all at once or I can even shift emotions in the middle of it. Which is pretty ironic if you think about it. Earth is the ground, it's what supports you, it 'grounds' you." I laughed a little. "But when I control the earth, I'm anything but grounded." Someone towards the front of class raise their hand, a boy with fluffy green hair.
"Can you control sub-elements?" He asked. "Like metal?"
"Yes." I said, and pulled a metal bangal bracelet off my wrist. "Metal allows me to focus, to calm down. Which is why I have this bracelet." I started bending it and controlling the shape of it and turned it into a small horse. "If I start feeling overwhelmed I can play with this to try and calm down." I made it back into a bracelet, and put it back on my wrist.
"Can you tell them why you're explaining so much?" Mr. Aizawa asked me, and I nodded.
"The reason I am telling you all this right away." I said and took a deep breath. "Is because my quirk isn't quite stable. It has led to me being schizophrenic. Most people who are schizophrenic will hear voices in their head. However, I can see my voices. They're my emotions. And because I can see them, it's very easy for me to get overwhelmed by them. So if I snap at any of you or suddenly switch to a different emotion, please don't panic because it will only make me spiral easier." A pink girl raised her hand.
"What should we do if you suddenly have a change of emotion?" She asked, and I smiled that she was interested enough to ask right away. No one had ever done that before.
"Just try your best to continue the conversation like normal." I said. "Continuing the conversation can help pull me out of an episode, that or it can make it worse but. But that's pretty rare. So if I walk away from a conversation, know that you didn't do anything wrong I just got overwhelmed by my own brain."
"Thank you. Now if you'll please take a seat next to Kirishima." Mr. Aizawa said, and I walked towards a red spiky haired boy in the back of the class.
"Do you think they're all judging you right now?" A girl with blue flowy hair said in a seat next to him in the very corner of the classroom. A girl that I knew all too well. My fear. "I bet they are! What do you think they're thinking? That you're a freak, or maybe they think you're crazy!" She liked playing with me trying to do anything to get me nervous. I sat down on top of her and she went through the chair. "Rude."
"Hi I'm Kirishima." The boy next to me said and held his hand out to me. "But you can just call me Kiri." I shook his hand as my fear floated over by him.
"He's kind of cute, isn't he?" She asked as she floated upside down and circled him.
"Y/n." I said, trying to ignore her.
"Do you think he's going to make fun of you?" My fear asked suddenly in my ear, and made me jump. Kirishima looked at me surprised.
"I'm sorry." I said nervous, fear always got to. She knew exactly how to get under my skin.
"It's okay." He told me with a giant smile on his face.
"Attention class." Mr. Aizawa called out, specifically to me and Kiri. We turned back towards the front of the room, and started class.
