POV: Nobody
Mina, Ms. L/n, and Aizawa all sat out in the waiting room to hear something about y/n's state.
"So Mina, do you know who she's in love with?" Ms. L/n asked, and Mina flinched before looking at her.
"Umm, yes." She said. "I do."
"Well who is it for?" Aizawa said and Mina looked down at the floor.
"I don't think I should say." Mina said.
"Mina, we already know that it's for someone older." Ms. L/n said. "And I'm not going to be mad at whoever he is. It was a teenage thought that went a little too far."
"Way too far." Aizawa said, and Mina pressed her lips together.
"I want to say." Mina told them. "But y/n was right about them probably getting in trouble."
"As long as it's not returned, there really shouldn't be a problem." Aizawa said. "This wouldn't be the first time the school's delt with this kind of thing?"
"Have you dealt with kind of thing before?" Mina asked. "A student with Hanahaki disease?"
"Not like this no." He said.
"Have you ever had Hanahaki disease?" Ms. L/n asked Aizawa.
"No." He answered.
"It's very painful process." Ms. L/n said. "Not literally, the surgery is painless. But it's the afterwards that hurts."
"What do you mean?" Mina asked.
"Well you lose the love that you had for that person." She explained. "And when it's gone, it feels like you'll never feel love again. That . . . . That hurts the most." She said and sat back in her seat.
"Mr. Aizawa . . . Ms. L/n." Mina said and turned towards them. She took a deep breath and looked at them. "Y/n's in love with you." She said looking at Mr. Aizawa. He flinched and Ms. L/n looked at him.
"What?" He asked, and had no idea what to say.
"Y/n's in love with you." Mina said again. "It was a dumb thought that she had in the back of her head, and she didn't mean to fall for you."
"It's more like she tumbled." Ms. L/n said and covered her mouth. "Hanahaki disease is supposed to last longer. It can last up to three months, not two weeks."
"She fell hard." Mina said. "She told me that after she first started throwing up petals, it only got worse."
Aizawa sat there, not knowing what to say. Thinking of how this whole time, y/n was willing to feel empty and almost die to protect him.
"Ms. L/n . . . ." He said and she placed her hand in his arm.
"Don't worry about it." She told him. "Its not your fault that her girly brain got the best of her." She laughed, she wasn't actually mad at him.
He sat there and covered his mouth as he thought to himself. And for a couple of minutes they all sat in silence.
"Ms. L/n?" Someone said and they all looked to see y/n's doctor. There was some blood on his surgery shirt. "Can I speak to you for a moment?"
"Is y/n alright?" She asked as she walked up to the doctor.
"She's fine, she's already out of surgery." The doctor said. "What I want to talk about is that, there was no plant."
"What?" She asked him.
"There was no plant, whoever she was in love with returned the love just in time." He said and had a large smile on his face. "Her love is still intact. And you can go to her room at any time." She took in a breath and nodded.
"Thank you doctor." She said. He walked away from her to go clean himself off and Ms. L/n turned back to Mina and Aizawa. She walked up to them and she took a deep breath.
"How'd it go?" Mina asked. She didn't say anything as Aizawa looked up at her, already knowing what happened.
"So you're in love with my daughter?"
