I sat with Bakugo in the waiting room at the hospital's pharmacy. The entire time my I couldn't stop bouncing my leg.
"Babe calm down, it's just your medication." Bakugo told me, and held my hand.
"Yeah hopefully, that's all it is." I said.
"Y/n l/n." A woman said up at the counter. I stood up and walked up to the counter, but just as I went to reach for the bag, another hand grabbed it.
"Good seeing you again, y/n." A man said with a wide smile on his face. I felt my shoulders sink and sighed.
"Hi Dr. Grant." I said.
"Why don't you come to the back with me?" He asked and tucked my medication bag under his arm. He walked over to a door and held it open for me to walk through.
"Will you wait for me here?" I asked Bakugo, and turned to him.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Dr. Grant asked, and Bakugo nodded to him. "Why don't you come back too?" He said and nodded his head to the side and invited both of us. We both walked into the back hallway, and Dr. Grant stood with his clipboard and his smile still wrapped around his face.
"Check up?" I asked him, and he nodded. He set the scale up, and per procedure I had to step on it backwards so I couldn't see it. After that was secured, Dr. Grant guided us to a check up room and had me sit on the table.
He asked me the routine questions that I knew the order by heart. I stared down at my hands the whole time, even after the questions were over.
"So." Dr. Grant turned around in his swivel chair. "Want to tell me what you're doing here? Because I find it a little odd, that your picking up your medication, almost on time for once."
"Odd?" Bakugo asked.
"Yes odd." Dr. Grant said. "Because y/n hasn't come to pick up their medication for the past, six months when she was supposed too. But now, you pick up medication only a week after the set date." I didn't say anything, as I really didn't want to talk. "And you missed your six month check up, that was also supposed to be last week."
"I finished it." I told him.
"Finish what?" He asked me and started rocking back and forth in his chair. He knew what I meant, he just wanted me to say it.
"I finished my medication." I told him. "I finished it this morning."
"So you started taking your medication again." He said, and I looked up to see he was happy. "Have you been taking it regularly?"
"For the past week yes." I told him.
"Everyday?" He asked and I nodded. "And you're eating everyday too?" I nodded again. "Well isn't that some great news. What got you to start wanting to get better?" I pointed at Bakugo. "And what's your name?"
"Katsuki Bakugo." He answered, and shook my doctors hand.
"Well Bakugo, I'm Dr. Grant." He introduced himself. "I've been y/n's doctor, for the past five years when it comes to her anorexia." He said before jumping a bit and turning towards me. "He knows about that, right?"
"Yes." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Good." He turned his attention back to Bakugo. "So what's so special about you, that you got y/n to start taking their medication regularly?"
"Well at first it was forced." Bakugo told him. "Y/n passed out in the hallway."
"Due to lack of nutrition?" Dr. Grant said, and Bakugo nodded.
"And at that point it was either I made sure she took it, or go to the nurse's office." He explained.
"Ooh, and when did you two start dating?" Dr. Grant asked.
"Last week." Bakugo answered, and Dr. Grant swiveled to look at me, with the brightest smile.
"Shut up." I told him. Dr. Grant only laughed, and stood up.
"Well I'm all done." Dr. Grant said and opened the door.
"Really?" I asked. "I was expecting more of an interrogation."
"Well I could keep going." Dr. Grant said, and started closing the door.
"No!" I yelled and grabbed Bakugo's hand, and stepped out of the room. I went to walk back out to the waiting area with Bakugo when Dr. Grant cleared his throat. I turned to look at him and he held my medication up.
I walked back up to him without Bakugo, and grabbed it.
"You two are cute." He told me. I gave him a look and snatched the bag from him.
"Well that was weird." Bakugo said once we were outside.
"Yeah." I agreed. "Dr. Grant is a weird guy. But he's the best in the country when it comes to people with anorexia. He was my therapist for my first three years after he diagnosed me."
"So that's why he's so friendly?" Bakugo laughed.
"He's just a weirdo." I laughed. "But he's a good guy, he's helped me when my parent wouldn't. He's the one that got me to apply for UA. He's kind of like the dad, that I didn't ask for."
"Well at least he cares." Bakugo said and kissed my cheek. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Can we get pork buns?" I asked him.
"Of course Teddy Bear." He answered and kissed my forehead.
