Clapping is what pulled both of us out of our trance, and we both jumped at the sudden sound. We both looked to see almost everyone in the auditorium was giving us a standing ovation.

Me and Sero stepped away from each other and stood side by side as we waited for the judges to give us their input.

"Before I say anything at all, y/n. I've got to ask how long have you been dancing for?" One of the judges asked.

"About three weeks." I answered honestly.

"Really?" The judge asked and I nodded to her. "I find that hard to believe with how well you danced. Right in the beginning, there was obvious tension and nervousness coming from both of you, but all of a sudden you both clicked and just moved together in sync."

"Yeah. And I've got to say the routine you two have is unlike any other I've seen in the whole time I've been judging." Another judge said. "You two took the dancing, and used it to tell a story. In the beginning you were both nervous, Sero has been in this competition for a while, but you're fresh out of dance lessons. And you could see that in your dance. But like she said, at the same time you two clicked and your movements were almost perfectly in sync."

"I agree on the story telling idea you two held." The last judge said. "It looked like you were happy together, until suddenly you two just grew apart. Right when you were barely hanging onto each other, but the whole time you were fighting and at some point you two just collided and rejoined each other again."

"And after that you were inseparable." The first judge said, and nodded in agreeance.

"You're routine, was truly beautiful. Great job you two." The second judge said, and we bowed before walking off stage.

And as soon as we were behind the curtain Sero's arms went around my body and he picked me up into a hug. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he buried his face in my neck and we held onto each other like there was nothing else that mattered.

"Mi amor." He said into my neck.

"Si?" I asked back.

"Never leave me again." He said, and I pulled away from the hug to look him in the eye. I cupped his face in my hands as I looked down at him.

"Never." I told him and kissed him on the lips. I kissed him as hard as I should have when we were at the club. He set me back down on my feet, but his lips never left mine. That was until I felt something smack the back of my head.

I pulled away from Hanta and rubbed the back of my head. I turned around and Sero's entire family was behind me. I jumped and screamed a little bit. But I didn't hide behind Sero. They were mad at me, and I was ready to take any punishment they had in mind for me.

Sero's mother started yelling at me in Spanish so fast that I couldn't keep up with what she was saying. I knew a good amount of Spanish, but I wasn't a good enough speaker to be able to keep up with her rambling. But I had a good idea what she was yelling.

"Mama." Hanta said, trying to calm her down. But his mother just kept going. "Mama!" Hanta yelled loud enough to pull her attention from me, and she smacked him upside the head with her chancla.

"What puta!" She yelled.

"Stop yelling at her." Hanta said calmly. "She-."

"I already know what happened." She said, and pointed her shoe at Carlos and Gabby. They both flinched and it looked like their mother took a couple of swings at them before they came backstage. "Those two already told me. What I don't understand is why this one." His mother then pointed her shoe at me and I couldn't help but flinch. "Didn't say anything to me."

"Seriously?" Hanta asked her, and he didn't seem amused. "Because she didn't gossip with you, you're mad."

"Yes." His mother said and I looked over at Sero's father. Who looked like he was getting a kick out of this whole conversation. The whole family was enjoying this.

Hanta and his mother started arguing, and it looked like she was going to start swinging again. So I stepped to the side and got away from the possible crossfire zone.

Sero's father wrapped an arm around my shoulders and kissed my cheek.

"She might be angry now, but she's grateful for what you did for Hanta." He told me. "Despite you practically breaking my son's heart."

"Yeah." I said and looked down. "I didn't mean to go as far as I did with what I said."

"It's okay." He told me. "You'll just have to date my son to make up for it." I couldn't help but smile and laugh a little as I nodded, telling him I understood. But then I had a thought.

"We're talking about Hanta, right?" I asked him.

"Of course, I wouldn't put you through the hell of dating Carlos." Sero's dad told me.

"Hey!" Carlos yelled and got offended. We all started laughing, and all the fighting stopped.

Hanta pulled me over to him and wrapped his arms around my back. He didn't say anything, he just looked at me.

"Yes?" I asked him. He just shook his head and kept staring.

"You're just so beautiful." He told me.

"We're dating-?" I started asking, and before I could finish my question he interrupted me,

"Yes." He told me, and nodded extensively. I laughed and he pulled me in for a hug.

"Can all dancers please make your way to the stage for final results." A voice said over the buildings sound system. Sero took my hand and pulled me back out onto the stage.

We all stood in a line as we waited to here what the results were for the competition. They listed who were in second and third place, and they stepped off to the side to receive their rewards.

"Can everyone but Sero and Tony's team, please leave the stage." One of the judges said, and everyone else left. I held Sero's hand tightly, and he rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb.

"We've been told that apparently there was a problem between you two."
