I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was lots of flowers. I looked around the room and saw that I was in a hospital room, and everywhere there were flowers. The second thing I saw was my emotions sitting at the end of my bed, and they all smiled at me seeing I was awake. And then the third thing I saw was a woman sitting in a chair next to my bed.
"Mom?" I asked, and she looked at me.
"Oh y/n!" She said, and hugged me. I flinched from the sudden sign of affection. "I heard all about what you did! And I'm so proud of you!"
"What kind of medication do they have me on?" I questioned, mostly to myself.
"Oh stop it." Mom laughed as she pulled away from my hug. "Anyway, I'll got the doctor. There's something I want to discuss with him." She then walked out, and a couple seconds later Kiri and everyone came into the room including Mr. Aizawa.
"Hey." Kiri said, and gave me a light kiss on the lips. I smiled from it and I couldn't help but giggle a little, and out of the corner of my eye I watched Joy swing her legs excitedly.
"How are you feeling?" Mr. Aizawa asked.
"Pretty good." I said and nodded. "Although I think I might be high right now, cause my Mom just told me she was proud of me." We all laughed a little and I looked at all the flowers. "Where did all these flowers come from?"
"A few of them are from school, but most of them are from the people in the towns that Seth terrorized." Mina said and smelled a bunch of flowers. "They're thankful to you for stopping him."
"We stopped him." I said, and gestured to all of us.
"Yeah, but you're the one that saved us." Bakugo said. "You even pulled yourself out of a panic attack."
"You were very impressive out there." Mr. Aizawa said.
"Well thanks." I said and I felt giddy. "Wow these drugs are strong." I laughed and let my head fall back onto my pillow and stared at the ceiling.
"Alright I found your doctor, you can all leave now." My mother said as she walked back into the room with a doctor behind her. Everyone went to leave, but I stopped them.
"No, they can stay." I said, and put my hands up. "Whatever you have to talk to me about can be said in front of them."
"Alright well, this Doctor is an expert in removing quirks." She said, and I felt like my head was spinning. "We're going to have your quirk removed, so that you can be a normal girl." My mother said and got excited.
"What?" My emotions screamed.
"What?" I asked, I couldn't believe what she was suggesting.
"He's going to take your quirk away, so that you can live a normal life." She said and smiled at me. "Isn't that great?" Kiri turned to me, and so did everyone else.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked her.
"Watch your language with me young lady!" She told me, and I ignored her.
"I am normal!" I yelled at her.
"You call being a schizophrenic normal?" She questioned me.
"Yes!" I told her. "I'm not the only person in the world that has this condition!"
"But it does effect you so much." She said.
"Of course it does!" I yelled at her. "I can hear and see my emotions! I can talk to them."
"You're crazy, and need help." She told me.
"Crazy?" I asked her and Anger laughed as he hopped of the bed and started cracking his knuckles. "You want to see crazy?" I asked her and got out of the bed, ignoring the pain in my chest.
"Get back in the bed." My mother told me.
"No! You want to see crazy! So here it is!" I yelled at her. "I like who I am! I like that I can see my emotions and that they can talk to me. As much as they are annoying I love them! Because they are who I am!"
"You need to back up." She told me as I was walking towards her, until she had her back to the wall. I could see the fear in her eyes, and she went to slap me. I caught her hand, and squeezed her wrist.
"My emotions are so intense that it made a grown man go insane!" I told her. "Did you hear that he was sent to a mental institute? Because he copied my quirk, but guess what! My schizophrenic ass, is so fucking crazy that it made a normal person go insane!"
"And that's why you need help." She told me.
"And I've found my help." I told her, and she flinched. "And if even think for a second I am going to let you take my quirk away, to take my emotions away! You have another thing coming if you think I'm going to let you take away who I am! You pushed Dad into leaving! You're the reason I lost the ability to love!"
"That's not true, you love me." She said.
"No! I don't." I told her and I let her go. I pointed at Kiri. "I love him." I said, and then gestured to my classmates and Mr. Aizawa. "I love them."
"And me." My mother said, and it sounded like she was begging. I sighed and shook my head.
"Get out." I told her, and pointed at the door. "Get out of my room, and get out of my life."
"I am your mother!" She yelled.
"And a terrible one at that." I told her. I took my bracelet off and played with it, before I flicked my wrist and it wrapped around her neck. "Keep it. I don't need it anymore."
My mother looked at me horrified, before she very slowly walked out of the room along with the doctor she brought into my room. I released a breath, and I could feel myself sway. Before I could fall to the floor, Kiri wrapped his arms around me and took me back to the bed.
"We love you too." Mina told me, and she rubbed my cheek. My emotions sat at the end of my bed, Fear and Joy were both crying. That I had fought for them, figments of my imagination. But I couldn't imagine my life without them.
I smiled at Mina as she rubbed my cheek, and felt really tired.
"We'll let you rest." Mr. Aizawa said. "We're all heading home tomorrow."
"Okay." I said, and Kiri jumped into my hospital bed next to me.
"I'm staying." He said, and I laughed. Everyone else left the room and Kiri laid on his side and brushed my hair out of my face. He lowered his head, and gave me a quick kiss. I pulled his head back down, and got a better kiss.
"I love you." I told him.
"I love you too." He told me and held me as I fell back asleep. And something told me that my emotions were going to be a lot more in check from here on out. Now that I had something to keep me grounded.
