CHAPTER 3

HARRY'S POV

A/N: i'm sorry I keep jumping POVs :(

"Are you ok harry?" I feel a hand grab my arm which makes me turn my head to look at jeffery.

"Yeah. Totally fine."

"You've been acting weird lately." he tells me. I think he knows something is up.

Things have been weird lately jeffery. wish I could tell you man.

"Have I ever lied to you?" I ask him.

"Um, yes. Many times." he laughs.

I laugh along, "well not this time. I promise." I feel bad lying to him, but I just don't want anyone to know. They would think I'm a freak. Having a reoccurring dream about a girl you don't know dancing on top of you doesn't sound normal to most people.

I decide to take my mind off of her with some music. If I keep staring out this window in silence, I will do nothing but think of her. I lean over and grab the aux Jeff has in his car. I see him give me a worried side eye as a hint not to play any sappy shit like a have recently. I scoff and plug my phone in. I scroll through my music and decide to just hit shuffle.

'Love is Strange' by Mickey and Silvia is the first play and jeffery bursts out laughing. 

"What are you trying to do? Seduce me?" he jokingly asked.

"What? It's a good song asshat!" I laugh along with him.

"Just skip this song please before I have to start crawling on the ground towards you" he begs.

I laugh and skip the song. The next song to play was 'The Chain' by Fleetwood mac.

"Now that's more like it!" Jeff says, clapping his hands to the beat. I can't help but crack up watching him try to keep up with the beat. Jeff has absolutely no sense of rhythm when it comes to music, but you gotta give him props for trying.

We sing along like little thirteen year old would sing along to justin bieber.

"And if you don't love me now" he sings.

"You don't love me now" I sing after him.

"You will never love me again" he sings.

"I can still hear you sayin you would never break the chain" we sing together.

"Nevverrr break the chaaiinnn" jeff sings attempting to do a run but completely fails. We both start crying laughing because it was just that bad. This was really helping me. I was slowly forgetting about her. I don't even remember what she was wearing in the dream. I felt a little bit of relief lift off of me. For so long I've been looking for this girl yet I can't find her. Maybe she was just meant to stay in my dreams.

We kept going with the karaoke session and Jeff kept attempting to do runs. None of them ever worked but he never stopped trying. There wasn't a moment where we stopped laughing in that car. My eyes were filled with tears from laughing so hard. It was such a great time, and one I really needed.

"Okay now get it together we're here." he tells me making my head turn back to the window and look where we are

Beachwood cafe.

He parked on the other side of the street and we start to walk across towards the store. I was a little nervous for this interview. I have been very excited for this music video and hoped the crew would like my ideas for it.

"Now remember," Jeff whispers to me as we walk, "don't be nervous. All you're doing is giving them your ideas for the 'Woman' video and leaving the rest to me."

I nod my head not needing to say a word. Jeff knows I'm nervous I can tell, that's why he said that to me. The closer we get to the store the higher my heartbeat rises. A girl walked in front of us with a black purse and some papers in her hands. She was looking at her phone like it was something important. She looked up to open the door then looked over her shoulder to see us. She quickly stepped out of the way to hold the door for us and we walked in. jeffery thanked her and just as I was going to thank her something caught my eye.

Her cherry necklace.

It looked familiar. I looked up at her eyes and she smirked. Suddenly my heartbeat slowed down.
