The room was almost completely silent besides the background music of 'Not Over you'. Jo stood there looking between Harry and I as we stared at each other, me in shock, him in discomfort.
"I'm gonna go do the dishes," Jo says, heading back to the sink brushing my shoulder just before she walked through the doors. "You can do this," she whispers in my ear and walks past me before I could completely take in her words.
"What are you," I start but train off, not sure where to go with this conversation. "What about tour?" I finally ask.
"It's all over, I played my last show in San Diego last night," I said calmly, walking towards the counter. As a reflex, I took a step back and I could tell he noticed from the way he stopped in his tracks. He looked back up to my eyes and I watched his face relax. "We don't have to talk about anything that happened last time, I just wanted to catch up." what he said made sense and I wanted more than anything to catch up, but I couldn't just drop everything and talk right now.
"Take a seat," I said pointing to a booth on the corner, "I'm gonna finish cleaning the back and I'll be right back." he nods and gives me a soft smile as what seemed to be a thank you. I gave one back before turning around and walking towards Jo.
When I got to the sink she looked at me with confusion.
"You're done already? What did-"
"No," I cut her off, "he's sitting out there, I told him I wanted to finish cleaning before I sat and talked to him." she rolled her eyes at me and scoffed.
"Ro, can't you see," she says back away from the sink, "you've done everything else but the dishes, and I'm pretty sure I can take care of these." she tells me and I sigh, looking around the room for something to do.
"What about the cash re-"
"Already counted," she cuts me off, knowing what I was going to say.
"And the floors are mopped?" I ask, crossing my arms.
"Yes, remember? You mopped them an hour ago," she reassured me and I dropped my brows.
"Oh," I mutter. She drops the dishes in the sink and grabs a hold of both of my hands.
"Ro, please go talk to him. I know it's not the first thing you want to be doing right now, but once you clear things up, you'll feel so much better about everything. I'm right back here if anything happens," she comforted me. She was such a good person it was almost unbelievable. I nodded and smiled at her, pulling her in for a hug.
"Wish me luck," I whisper in the hug.
"You don't need it," she responds, letting go. I nod with a smile before turning around and facing the door once again. I tuck my hair behind my ears and take a deep breath in. I cleared my mind of London one last time before walking through the doors and seeing Harry sitting at the booth, playing with the rings on his fingers nervously.
At this point, This man could chew me up and spit me out, I got nothing left to lose with him.
"Do you walk something to drink?" I ask. He looked up at me like I had interrupted his thoughts.
"Depends," he starts, "is the coffee still out?" he asks with a slight smirk on his face. I smile back before stepping over to the coffee machine.
"I'm not sure, I might have to check," I say, faking my smile and making two cups of coffee for us, leaving his black like he liked it before taking them over to the table with shaky hands. I set his in front of him and he pulls together a grin as he nods as a thank you. I do the same before sitting down in front of him and sipping the hot cup slowly.
